Employees are so nice, they respect us and give us really good fresh eggs and bacon and hot cakes 5 star!! Clean too
Ok so boom! If you have ever watched the movie Moonlight, you need to have visited this diner. You may or may not know, but the director of the movie tried to pay homage to his hometown by shooting various scenes of the movie in Miami, and specifically the Eastside Diner.Back to the overall experience. The ladies who served our table, unbelievably sweet. The interior still carries that old-school vibe and hasn’t really walked into the footsteps of modern technology (which is cool)! Visiting a diner was a first-time experience ever for my partner and I so we went with whatever was suggested. And let me tell you, it was great! Pancakes, sausage links, eggs, OJ and whatever else you might desire. It can be found right here.
If you're looking for a real NY-style diner, here you go. The eggs and breakfast were cooked perfectly. The coffee is really good. Our server, Iris, was salty and very enjoyable to talk to, even if she was from Brooklyn and not The Bronx. LOL. She took good care of us. A big plus was, FREE PARKING!
Completely forgot to write a review sooner. BEST DINER I have been to. It's not your typical cheap greasy bland , not even salted and peppered food. This place runs like a clock , the food was amazing , its very very clean. They have hand sanitizer bottles on the tables and they are not empty like at most places. The service was impeccable, worth the wait for the table, the smell will keep you waiting patiently for your table!!
1st time back since pandemic closure. Great food. Great service. Place still needs a remodel.(Some time later... in spongebob narrator voice)2022:2nd time back. Great food even better service. Place gotta paint job, some outdoor seating, and some new service counters, ok ok ok.
My favorite diner of all time! I've been coming here for years and I never have a complaint whenever I order. It can be on the busy side, but other than that, you don't wait too long for your food and the employees are really nice!

We went here at 1:30 and they were still serving breakfast along with lunch. We both had breakfast. It was delicious! The portions were huge. The waitress was friendly and fast.
Excellent welcome, service and food. Spanish omelet delish and hash browns more like Rosti; v good. Sets you up for a day of sightseeing around Miami.
Good food. Excellent service. Nice ambiance. Traditional American breakfast. I loved it. The staff and the clients were friendly and welcoming!! I recommend!
