Jamaica house is by far one of the best Caribbean restaurants in the area especially to be open 24/7 in south Florida. I’m from NY so I know. The owner and the workers are hard working and the food is always fresh. I love the gungo peas and rice. The oxtail is delish, jerk pork always on point and the fresh juices are always A1 with me. I come all the way from west of I75 to buy food from here. Jamaica House much love. Much respect.
Hard workers behind the counter. Enjoyed their porridge and oxtails. They always seem to have red snapper available. Convenient being open 24hrs. Not a fan of their red pea soup. I’m from the Caribbean however I don’t like chicken / chicken foot in my red pea soup, (for others that may be a winning combination.)
Best jerk chicken and jerk pork in the area. Nice smoky flavor and always juicy. Tasty down to the bone ?? Very consistent unlike a lot of other Jamaican restaurants in the area. The jerk wings are very good too. Ticket times can run a bit long that's why no 5 stars but the food is on point.
Jamaican house never disappoints! I’ve Been going here for years! One of the best Jamaican restaurants in South Florida!!! I always order Large oxtails with extra extra gravy. I wish I had my photo but I finished everything! Yum ? staff is always welcoming and friendly. I live in Ft Lauderdale now but when I make that drive to Miami I always have to stop and show love.
Not friendly, service was DRY, I mean I said hello to one of the ladies and she looked right at me and didn't answer. Sending her love and light. Food wasn't great although I hear the oxtail is the best dish, I picked up an order for BBQ chicken. Probably will not be back.
The oxtail and the jerk chicken were good flavorful and tender. The sweet plantains were delicious.
Veggie stew is it if you’re vegan. Always goodSecret menu item…just ask if they have it ?
I'll just let you know ahead of time all I get when I go here is the oxtail and it is amazing. They give a very healthy portion which I love. My wife loves the brown stew chicken. Better than that fast food Jamaican place next to them that's for sure.
Left brown stew chicken, right oxtails both very good
Whatever you do, don’t get the CurryChicken unless you like choking on little bits of chicken bones...The gravy is plentiful but so are the bits of bones.. the flavors are wonderful, but this was a hazardous meal.. Best served to your family pet.. ?
