I went for lunch for the Miami Spice ($28). I was disappointed. The soup took forever, I had to ask. The real issue was the main course, or le plat principal. Choices were disappointing. I ordered the salad with duck. The salad was dry cole slaw, with ZERO dressing on it, and maybe 6 strips of duck, the size of shoe-string potato sticks. I sent it back. Manager was very nice. They put salad dressing on the cole slaw. I’m sorry, is this the best they can do? The dessert was the highlight of the lunch, and was very good. Hutong was disappointing, I have been to other Miami Spice venues which were very good.
Came here for Brunch after Dark. Everyone spoke highly of this place but it’s basically an overpriced Chinese restaurant. I will give the chef credit for the beauty of presentation. This food looked so beautiful when it came out. But…The food came out cold. Some dishes were absolutely flavorless that I had to drown them in spicy sauce. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because our service was absolutely phenomenal. Wait staff. Hostess. They are amazing. The rest…long way to go.
We still miss Hong Hong-Kong but a good effort for now a worldwide chain. Not as spicy but creative cooking in a good location on Brikell. Great welcome from cassandra and excellent service. Fair prices Nice terrace. Recommended
Great location and ambience! Cocktails and service are outstanding. They didn’t do a good job with the fried appetizers. I heard the pecking duck is a must try but we were not hungry enough that day!Have fun!
I had great expectations but was totally disappointed. Even the Peking duck was very basic, bland and flavorless. There is a lot of fanfare and a lot of people but nothing was great. It seems very trendy and is super expensive, but I was not impressed.
Everything seemed disjointed. The manager came over to see how everything was before we ordered. We both had the same soup, but one was served early in the meal, the second was served late! The portions are tiny, The taste was great.
Flaming Duck in Miami ???When I was in Hong Kong, I wished to try @hutonghk long time ago. Finally, I visited @hutongmiami during my Midas Miami Food [email protected]? 600 Brickell Ave, Miami, FL 33131, United StatesWHAT WE HAD?Flaming Peking Duck?Yu Xiang Crispy Eggplant?Prawn & Scallop Wonton?Wagyu Beef Millefeullie?Prawn & Black Truffle Dumpling?Hutong Prawn Rolls Pan-seared Ginger Lobster BaoFlaming Peking duck was awesome. Traditional Peking Duck is carved table side. Peking Duck is always accompanied by an array of thin, steamed pancakes, sliced white leeks, cucumber, and sweet hoisin sauce. @hutongmiami they’ve taken the Peking Duck and added some innovative twists to tradition. The duck is flamed table-side, giving their Peking Duck a bonus level of crisp skin. Love it???Yu Xiang Crispy Eggplants were beautifully arranged. Crispy outside and soft inside. It’s absolutely the best starter with beer. Yummy??? Prawn & Scallop Wontons were tasty while Hutong Prawn Rolls were crispy and flavourful. Seafood lover must try. Wagyu Beef Millefeullie was not as amazing than I expected as the beef filling was marinated. Also, the pastry was a bit thick. Overall, it’s ok but not a must eat [email protected] offers a range of dim sums. Pan-seared bun usually stuffed with pork but @hutongmiami used lobster instead. The bao was beautifully pan-seared with right amount of dough. The ginger flavour was pretty strong. If you are the big fan of ginger, you must love it.Prawn & Black Truffle dumpling was my favourite among all the dim sums. The flavour of truffle was just right and not over ridding the prawn taste. It’s a good balanced between them. @hutongmiami defo makes the prawn dumpling to next level. Love it???Hutong has various branch over the world including London. Have you tried it before?
The service was marginal. The food was ok. The ambience was AMAZING. The location is great. The wait staff could learn a thing or two from Chick-fil-A. I had a simple lunch, the bill was $160 for two w $40 tip. Will I go back, nah. Am I happy that I went, YES.
My boyfriend and I visited Hutong with a couple of friends in May 2022. This is my second time dinning at Hutong in Miami and I cannot rave about this restaurant enough. Everything on the menu is super delicious but our favorite has to be the signature Dan Dan noodles dish. We were looked after by Davide and he was incredibly attentive to us and offered wonderful customer service. Would highly recommend this restaurant and a must visit whilst in Miami.
I only had two dishes here, but they were both fantastic. The pronwn and scallop wonton is one of the greatest Asian dishes I’ve ever had in my life. And I have been to 17 cities in China, as well as Hong Kong and Indonesia. The ribs were also fantastic. Ignacio the bartender was amazing and gave great recommendations. Alcohol selection is very impressive. And the space is gorgeous. Highly recommend!
