Over 30 years strong that I'm aware of. Always satisfied. The only real Sub Shop I'd recommend in the Kendall area.
Amazing subs. Incompetent staff.It's truly sad that I have to leave a 2 start review on the best sub shop in Miami as they don't know how to update their hours of operation and I was met with them being closed after 5 when on Google they list Saturday as 7. Smh do better
They put the toppings at the bottom and then the meat on top. It's better that way. You taste the steak better. One of the best steak and cheese sub I've had. Didn't give five stars, cuz I would have loved some hot and crispy french fries. They don't have that there. Also the benches outside could use some cleaning.
Always great subs, quick service, and more expensive than a dine in restaurant.
Now what it used to be. Sadly, like so many other Miami staples, Hungry Bear has raised it prices, made it portions smaller and don’t put the care and attention they used to into making your sandwich and providing a great experience. Hopefully Hungry Bear gets it together and goes back to the quality we expect rather than giving a half empty sandwich that’s all bread and little meat. Not sure I’ll be back anytime soon.
I had no idea this gem was in my backyard. The sub was GIGANTIC. Full of flavor. Definitely going back soon.
This place was the best but since they changed the bread (horrible!!!) and put fewer ingredients especially meat, they are no longer best in my book. The last Three orders have gotten worse each time. I now consider them just another sub shop on par with Subway. I won't be ordering from here until they go back to the standards they used to have. I used to travel 22 miles and sit outside in the sun just to have their sub.
Food is amazing. Philly cheese steak sub that my lady recommended was amazing. Added provolone + grilled onions, green peppers, banana peppers, pickles, mustard and mayo. Delicious ?
This place is timeless, been there as far back as I can remember. The lines out the door are all the review you need as it's that good so if you have to wait, you know it's worth it. They have a system down and the lines move so stick around as again, your stomach will thank you
The girl with the glasses and droopy face that handled my order had a huge attitude. She seemed annoyed at the fact that I was placing an order and generally made us feel unwelcome. She asked us to sit outside and wait for our food, when she brings it, she stands outside of arms reach to hand it over, making us get up to get our food. The food itself was overall tasteless.
