Literally the best bao buns I've ever tried! A little spicy but perfectly balanced with fresh veggies and fried chicken.Ramen was good, too. I've asked for the lightest broth, so it was not as flavorful as regular tonkotsu ramen. But to me it was perfect - with delicious pork and marinated egg.
We ordered the Korean Wings which were to die for. the OG Ramen which was delicious as you can see he finished the bowl before I could take the picture. LMAO... and I ordered the hakata tonkotsu. Very delicious both bowls but if I had to choose, the OG Ramen is the best in my opinion. The people, the ambiance its great and very friendly. ?
I always go with the OG.
The flavors were out of this world on Ramen, seriously the best so far, the spice, the deliciousness, everything about it screamed an experience in your mouth. The staff very attentive and kind. Had an amazing time thank you.
This is a late review :)I came here last year when it was fairly new to the area. It was lunchtime and they had just recently launched a lunch menu. Not sure if they are still offering this but I opted for the Ramen Lunch Set which is a choice of ramen and comes with a rice bowl, ginger salad, gyozas, or shishito peppers. The ramen I selected was their signature OG which is Tonkotsu and miso broth with cured pork belly. It was very tasty and the medium spice level was perfect for me. The noodles had a nice snap and the pork was very tender. The rice bowl and gyoza were pretty good too.This is a cute ramen shop in the gentrified little Haiti. Clean and modern dining room and the food is decent. Again, I'm not sure if they're still offering lunch but I would come to try their dinner items.
Just left the place. Spent 2 hours begging our waitress to get our order ready. She was very nice, but how long could it take to make 3 bowls of ramen considering that the broth is made in advance and they just have to set the ingredients in the bowl? Everything is made in advance!!!! When we finally got them, it was cold!!! Couldn’t leave fast enough, felt sorry for our waitress but we didn’t expect anything for free. As a paying customer, we deserve better. NOT COMING BACK EVER AHAIN
First entering the Ramen Bar Torika greeted my fiancé and I & told us to “choose where to sit & get comfortable.” She then offered us water. We were a little confused about the menu so she explained it all. A little incident happened with the tickets (as can happen anywhere) and someone else got their food before us. Torika then apologized & we eventually got our food which was pretty good. When she apologized she also offered us free Mochi ice cream & Soki shots. The service was phenomenal thanks to Torika! She makes us want to come back. We thank you again for your service <3 <3
This place was nice, and my waitress was extremely helpful, and honest. She made recommendations based on what I told her I liked. My table had the Izakaya Starters: Umami Sticky Bun, and the Bao Buns both Pork Belly & Fried Chicken. These starters were the bomb! They are on the pricey side, I just wish you got three instead of two. You will taste the herbs and spices used in this culture with an American culture twist. We also had the Shoyu The Money Ramen. I personally didn't care for it, it wasn't for me, but my party loved theirs; they're into Ramen anyway I suppose. We dined outside, but the ambiance of the restaurant is perfect if you want to dress up and have a nice night out with your sweetie or with dear friends. The restrooms were impeccable! Overall, I would recommend this place if you're into ramen.
Their food is ok, but they are pretty expensive for what it is and are very slow. Don't expect to go there for a quick soup. This place takes a unusually long time to prepare the food. I ordered 2 soups and it took over an hour to get them ready. Half the time was spent sitting in the restaurant as they never informed us that they were running incredibly late. In the long run, they ended up comping my meal, which was the right thing to do, but they need to get things figured out and should be top notch service for the cost.
