The hostess at this location needs to be trained on how to greet and take care of customers requests. After giving the table I requested to the guests that came afterwards, her response was that she was told to. I requested to speak to her manager and the manager never came out. We left the restaurant and wonât be returning to this location.
Great food awesome service
We went for Fatherâs Day and they had a limited menu which we were unaware of at booking. Drinks took very long to arrive. They came after some of our food actually. Our grill was way too hot and our food kept burning. We informed the server who turned it down and replaced the grill cooking plate. Although nothing was done about the food. Service was slow even for a place where you cook your own food. And our server although very sweet would drop stuff off and run before we could ask her for anything we needed. We asked if we were done with the grill and she said no we still had dessert. The grill was not needed for the dessert. I was quite annoyed as I had asked so we could turn off the grill because it was getting very hot and we had a toddler with us. Again, had she just wasnât really focused on us. The dessert was awful by the way. We have been here before and we loved it. This time it went great.
The food was excellent as well as the hostess and manager. The server we had should look into a different industry. He was terrible!
Gyu-kaku poses a fun dinner experience for a one on one date and the food is very good. I however went with a group of 5, which isn’t very large and the table we were seated at was meant for 6 and it did not fit the stuff we ordered. Everything was stacked on top of each other there was no room for anything, if I’d known I would’ve divided the group into two tables. Other than that the food is great and it’s an incredibly fun time!

The servers and door persons leave a lot to be desired. Luckily the food compensates for the staff’s apathy.
John was great, food was great. We love Gyu-Kaku.
Server Manuel was very attentive. The restaurant was packed, but still he managed to provide a very good service. Will come back.?
