My wife and I arrived for a late lunch. It was our first experience with Nicaraguan food. The ambience was nice as was the service.I ordered the grilled pork with achiote and it was well marinated. The starting sauces with garlic bread was a nice way to begin lunch. The highlight for us was the Rum Cake pudding, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Good food but a little pricey I think. I tried the sopa de albundiga which was bomb!!! I also got a grill chicken and skirt steak which was good and the cacao drink was a 5/10 but every thing else was pretty good.
It's my first time at this restaurant and I loved Orlando's customer service, he and the food that was super delicious made me have a nice Sunday.
A nice Nicaraguan restaurant in Little Havana. The food is excellent and the ambiance is very mellow and relaxing. The service is very attentive and it has free parking too.
Sampler Platter is excellent. Cerviche is great. Sangria is superb. Enjoyed it the first time and went back for 2nd visit during our latest trip to Called Ocho.
I am Nicaragua therefore I know my food. I ordered two Pescado frito a la tipitapa, one melon juice, a soda and, two orders of buñuelos for my mom and I. The waiter Mario and I had a great conversation . I was the one that started the conversation. He never asked me how the food was. I told him the fish was horrible, the buenuelos we're really bad. I asked for the check and the bill was 111.19. I do not care paying for good food but this experience was very bad. This was a second chance I gave this restaurant, the last time I went ten years ago i had carne asada and it was horrible. They need to make changes if they care to stay open.
This place has been here for decades.Still good for Carne Asada, great service.El Gallo pinto can be improved.
Shame on this restaurant! They charged me for two ice teas those are supposed to be refills. They also charged some service fee and added tip. Small churassco at lunch for 1 person $50 willl not be returning here. Food was not that great. Gallo pintos were not good at all
Both the service and food were great !! We were seated immediately and we had the choice to dine outdoors or indoors . Not only was the food great but the presentation as well !! I definitely recommend this place , I will definitely be coming back !!
