I’ve become a post-church regular here. As a yank in Miami, good pizza is the exception to the rule.In a keto diet? I recommend the skirt steak wrap with a Greek salad on the side instead of the fries. Simply unwrap it and you have a very satisfying low carb supper.Friendly staff, casual atmosphere.

Bright, upbeat, friendly, and tasty!Nice pizza joint right on the corner…can’t miss it, nor should you. The pizza is pretty tasty. Crust is soft and ever so slightly doughy, which actually comes out nice.We ordered the house Hawaiian. Comes with tomatoes and bacon as well. Nice touch.Mozzarella sticks are average… kinda bland.Service was quick and friendly. Plenty of seating.
Groovy’s is always 10/10. While it seems more casual, the food here is genuinely better than some more upscale places in Miami. So much flavor, cooked perfectly, comfort food dishes. The food definitely holds its quality for takeout and the service is wonderful.

I was touring the city from metrorail with my granddaughter when we got hungry and looking at options within easy, comfortable distance from the rail. Government Center and Brickell, too busy too dirty, Vizcaya - nothing, University and South Miami... eh, Dadeland North and South - boring. I had noticed "Groovy's Pizza and Grill" sign from the metrorail and decided to take a train bank to 27th Av station. Short walk and then wow! Pleasantly surprised at the attention, speed, and friendliness to take my order of lasagna and a cheese pizza. Sat down and a few minutes later the pizza was brought to our table. Delicious and yes, greasy - the way pizza is supposed to be (if you want NY or Chicago style pizza and complain about grease, you're actually wanting a salad.) The lasagna was out of this world delicious. Perfectly done. And the price for everything, very wallet friendly. Especially when compared to restaurants that upcharge for their location. Great place! They deliver too!
Good sandwiches, wings, burgers, Pasta, Lasagna and pizza… including pizza by the slice - with slices AS-Big-As-Your-HEAD !!! In the photos below, each slice is spread across two full-sized paper plates.Also, bottomless Pepsi fountain drinks, and a huge selection of Bottled Beers. Cool atmosphere.
I don't know how this place is still open with how rude the staff and owner are. They have mediocre pizza and the longest wait time for no apparent reason. There is no one in there and yet still have an attitude about everything. Funky smell coming from their kitchen. Never coming back. Rude and dismissive to people. Definitely a mistake eating here.
My first time there the pizza was excellent flavors and texture, Well recommended. Great place to get a slice of pizza ir a whole pie, pasta, burgers, sandwiches, warps and gyro.
