I been buying here for a couple years now. The restaurant just had a great renovation, now is fresh and modern. But the food is still mediocre and not so tasty. The sizes are small and the food is just poor. I keep buying here because the convenience of having a Colombian restaurant near me, but the food is not good, i have invited all my family here but no one enjoys it.
Such a great family restaurant. We reserved a section of the restaurant for my daughters baptism. Alex and Polly we’re great and service was impeccable. The food was amazing and very good quality and freshness. The owner was very nice and helpful. We were able to bring a party set up. I highly recommend for good food and Sunday events.
The Parrilla Mixta for 4, was well cooked. Every dish, including the empanadas had great taste.
Food was ok, not bad but also not great. We got the bandeja paisa con picanha and it came with a tiny piece of picanha. Not worth the price if you as me. Also, service was not good. Not rude but not attentive at all like the waiter just didn't want to be there at all. I would've given it at least 3 stars but they impose an 18% tip por groups of 2 to 4 and 20% for groups of 6 or more. I guess this explained why the servers attitude was like that, they get a tip regardless of what kind of service they give you. I wouldn't come back.
I don't often give reviews but 1 star is too much. Thee food I ordered was terrible. Non of it represented Colombian cooking. You should be ashamed to to call this colombian and charge what you charge. So let me start. The Aji and the wing sauce with the empanadas need to come off the menu. The picada was uneven cuts so some were chewy some were too tough. Thechuleta valluna was burnt. The frijoles seemed like they were thickend with cornstarch. Very disappointing experience. I would never be back. Too bad I lost my money and my time there.

Be careful when paying and look at your receipt carefully. If you read other reviews you’ll see that this is not an isolated incident.When I was given the device to pay I immediately saw the waitress added a 20% tip which was automatic ONLY for 6 or more guests, we were 3 adults, 1 teen and 1 four year old. I tell the waitress that I wanted to put my own tip amount and she says I can, so I select “custom tip” on the device and give the amount I want. I ask for the receipt. HOWEVER, I see the bill and El Patio 305 not only charged me the tip I wanted to give but the 20%!! I complained to the waitress and she made the change but the last time I came a similar issue happened. Long story short, I don’t plan to come back.
Second time coming and was a bad experience. Server barely took care of my family. I try to ask about some food and just cut me off answering and leaving without letting me order.When we were ready to order, he was in bad mood and at the end, didn’t send my mom food and never checked on her.So disappointed because I’m a server too and I know what a customer service is.

I have to say this is one of my fav restaurants,Amazing flavor, very authentic, big plates, amazing service, I come every week and they never disappoint me. Very recommend
