Staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely made us felt welcome. Just a wonderful local restaurant. Must try! We order the famous burger and mango smoothie. Food is delicious.
My family and I were in Miami this past weekend and my teenage son asked if we could have lunch at El Mango de las Fritas to try a frita. Since it was on our way to the airport, we thought we'd give it a try. Woah...this place did not disappoint. The staff was super friendly and they helped us with our selections from the menu. If you are in Miami, I highly recommend. The food and staff were awesome. :)
Such amazingly friendly service! Surrounded by bustling staff conversing with patrons (almost exclusively in Spanish; but our waiter spoke English fluently as well). They guides us through the new to us foods and everything was delicious. Got the fritas, watermelon juice, tamale, and flan with a Cuban coffee for desert!

The Big Magic Frita was truly delicious. All of the food tastes fresh and the flavors are somehow subtle and bold at the same time. Left feeling full but not bloated - no oily fried food to be found here. I will be back for more. And the staff is delightful.
