Delicious authentic Cuban food and coffee. 3 stars only because there is a mandatory tip added without them asking first and water is served without letting you know how much it is beforehand. We were charged $6.

We got the appetizers platter and Cuban rice. Recommend the Cuban rice,it was a good mixture if meat and rice. Mojitos need some work. Would recommend if you like fried food.

The 5 stars are for such a great service. We were welcomed and treated with so much respect here. We were given great food recommendations and immediately after sitting down they brought us water, bread and someone (not sure if manager or owner) came to the table to thank us for choosing his restaurant for dinner that night. The food tasted good.. the only thing is we had to swap our food because one of us doesn’t eat pork and his steak was milanesa style with lots of ham. We were still happy with the food after we swapped plates.Price-wise: it was a little pricey

Extremely disappointing. The cristo sandwich was really boring and the platters we got were lacklustre. The plate was visibly dirty as well. Total bill was $85 for two. Gratuity was automatically 18% added.Would not come back.

Great service and good cuban food. Have tried several of their dishes, and all of them taste freshly made. The atmosphere is local, relaxed.

Would have given it 5 stars but the waitress was rude. Showed special treatment to other customers, maybe thought they would leave a better tip because it was a group and I was solo? I tip very well because I know it sucks to take a table for 1.. normally 50% and up.. her loss... Good food if you're in the area and have time because it's slow. 10/10 mojito though

Food was really good. I took off 2 star because I feel like we were scammed by our server. When the server took our order, after my boyfriend said he wanted the cubano el cristo, the server asked if he wants it with rice or salad. We were confused because we didn't know the meal comes with rice or salad but my boyfriend said salad anyway. Server wrote it down then turned to me and I said I would like the exact same thing. He then brought out 2 biggo plates of salad along with the sandwiches. We were so shocked of how cheap (we thought) it was. Until we discovered in our bill that it was $9 for each plate of salad we had. We paid and didnt complained, just felt little scammed. Server didn't specify when asked if we wanted the sandwich with rice or salad, he even made it sound like the meal came with it. I'll make sure to ask if any side dish comes with the meal when server ask next time, if i ever come back. Other then that, food was delicous.18% service charge is included in the bill

Excellent food, location, and coffee! The food was fresh and prepared beautifully. The service was a little slow, but it is Covid times and they were attentive when they came by to check. The cafecito was delicious and nice and strong. Sit outside to enjoy the sights and sounds of Calle Ocho around you!

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Started with a large glass of sangria. Delicious skirt steak with a wonderful chimichurri sauce. Very nice salad and wonderful fried yucca. Also had delicious ox tails with yellow rice and beans. We were served tasty garlic bread. Dessert was tres leches cake which was excellent. Patrick was an excellent server who was very helpful with everything we ordered.

We happened on El Cristo while walking along Calle Ocho. Our Cuban sandwiches and maduros were perfectly made. Service was great. I didn't love my Sangria, but did love my Cuban coffee. I would certainly recommend El Cristo.
