STOP! DO NOT ORDER from this bakery. I had my wedding in April this year. Not only did they forget to make my cake (which I reserved a month in advance) they told me not to worry that they will whip one up just in time. . . They must of used an old cake which they decorated sorta like what I wanted because it wasn’t.. Charged us $500 for a TERRIBLE cake, the cake was so dry and crumbly. Everyone came up to me at my wedding to tell me how awful the cake was. NO ONE wanted seconds. We went back the very next day to complain with the rest of the cake, they immediately offered us a refund which we NEVER got. The manager Carlos avoided us like the plague for a month thinking we would just forget. We called everyday day in hopes to get in touch with him and he was always out?? Are you kidding me? Why say your going to give us a refund and then refuse? Poor business skills. I will continue to share my story because this is NOT OKAY
The best cake in Miami. The services is amazing and the team is great. I would recommend this place to everyone. The Tate, the texture, the options and everything is exceptional. This is the place to get your cake for any occasions. I live in Fort Myers and I drive 2 hours to pick up a cake.
Placed an order for my daughters communion 2 weeks in advance and unscheduled it to be picked up at 11am got there at 12pm and cake was still not ready had to wait 20 minute and flowers on the cake had to be pink and I had to take them white because they wanted me to wait 25 more minutes for them to paint them.
Edda's Cake Designs and their team were wonderful. I am from Maryland and was recommended this company by wedding venue in Miami and I was NOT disappointed. They were so sweet and awesome to work with. I would like to point out that they went above and beyond when my fiancé and I wanted to do an impromptu trip for a cake tasting in Miami but we were unaware an appointment was needed. HOWEVER; they were so kind enough to provide a sample of their cake tastings in a to-go container even without an appointment. I cannot be more grateful for that little kind gesture. All their flavors were delicious and we ended up choosing a pina colada cake. All our guests were impressed at how delicate the cake was. My husband and I first had Eddas for our wedding 20years ago and loved it ever since. We order from them every year and at least 2 times a year for birthdays. We are extremely disappointed to learn they have moved from the Pembroke Pines location. Just isn’t the same and they do not offer delivery outside of their city.
Let me tell you that Eddas Cake Design will be my forever go to bakery for Cake Design. My original baker canceled on me 3 days before the event. I contacted Eddas Cake Design and they came through ON TOP at the last minute and did not charge me extra. I want to thank YAMI for taking my order and making this all possible.
Meh. A bit disorganized. The cake was okay. Edda's way part of a package, and I kind of felt like because it was all-included, I was sort of a second-class citizen. They did deliver it on time, and the product was pretty, but as I said, some of their staff need a little help.
Horrible customer service and not even a smile on the workers face. They have a big sign that says be nice to the workers when the workers aren’t even nice to begin with. She was a bit rushing as well. Horrible experience m!
I ordered a birthday cake and cake pops for my daughter birthday. The cake did not met my expectations. The cup cakes eddas brand that they sell at fresco y más have more flavor. I asked for extra moist cake and it was dry. I did not like the texture of the cake pop either I want guava and all my guess agree that they could not find the guava flavor in it. I will keep buying the cup cake at fresco they are worth the money. It was expectation versus reality.I asked for a color and they make a different color. I did not revived the cake topper I was expecting either.
