I had high hopes for this place. As I walked in with my family the waitress was talking with another coworker and didn't welcome us in . I get it , it's a local spot and people must know they can just walk in and sit anywhere,however, it was our 1st time there so having someone welcome and guide us would of been great . Oh and let me not leave out the fact I helped out an elderly couple who had no idea they could sit anywhere either .The food was not great at all . I personally had a burger and I'd say any fast food burger are of better quality .1 star for the cool vibe it has .2nd star for the waiter who was assigned to our table . He was very attentive and friendly.
Went on Mother’s Day. Ordered a Ruben. Worst Ruben I’ve had in a long time. Bread soggy and untoasted. Pastrami room temperature. Food came out so fast, we were left wanting to the cook to go ahead and take his/her time. Place was empty so didn’t understand why it felt like they were trying to rush us out. Waiter not the nicest and misunderstood part of the order. Def won’t be returning. Shame bc we’ve been going since the early 90’s. Not the same anymore. Maybe they treat those food critics who give out all those stars differently.
We got there and being our first time we didn’t know exactly what to do so we were looking around and in that one minute a rude waiter told us “SIT DOWN” and made the whole situation awkward for no reason. We didn’t even want to sit there! Lol so after realizing what he did (hopefully) he was very insistent on us staying even though I spoke for the group saying we’re going to leave because we didn’t like the place. Super rude.
We went to this restaurant for the first time, the truth is, we had a great time, the food and the wonderful service, the waiter Yovany attended us, it was very nice to meet him for his good attention, we ordered chicken wings and hamburgers, everything was very nice, without a doubt I will continue visiting this beautiful restaurant it's on 57th avenue thanks everyone

My favorite neighborhood Tavern yummy food and drinks and best service by Gus, Stacy and Julio. Wayne always makes us feel like family. Love taking over their Juke Box with my own playlist DM, Cure, 7 Nauls among many more.
Used to be a neighborhood bar. But old owner ran off regulars. Prices have skyrocketed. Lost much of its appeal. Stacy and Calvin are still there and still awesome.
This place quickly because a regular spot for me. Great place to watch sports or just relax and a few drinks. Great deals and great quality food to match. Staff is friendly as well. Really an old school tavern feel.
The original Duffy's all the others are an imitation, the food excellent, the beer very cold and the service fabulous. You know you're in the right place when the owner is attending you there is no other like the real Duffy's tavern 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
