If you’re looking for a lowkey, relaxed, not so pricey yet tasty, quick date spot Dr Limón by FIU is the vibe! From the second you sit you are welcome with a Leche de Tigre shot, toasted corn kernels, and a sauce which was delicious! The servers are super friendly and if you’re indecisive like me, they are so helpful with hooking you up with the best dishes. The food comes out fast which is quite nice, from the time I sat to the moment I was munching it was no more than 15 minutes. I ordered the Shrimp Truffle Roll (8.5/10 if you enjoy truffle this is a go to), a hidden menu special ceviche suggested by my server apparently called Peru Campeón which is basically the Centro de Lima ceviche with Leche de Tigre instead of lime juice served is a cup (7/10), and the Lychee Flor de Jamaica cocktail (3/10). My server had recommended me the Marajito which apparently is the best cocktail, I must say I fumbled the bag with this one. Looking forward to going back to try the Marajito for sure and other dishes on the menu that looked delicious!

Amazing ambiance. Amazing food. Great service. Love coming here. Will def... recommend

It was my first time eating Peruvian food so it's hard for me to compare. However I've has sea food before and their parrillada was amazing! Also our server was Carlos and he was absolutely great with his service. The only complaint I have is that they don't have a restaurant of Dr. Limon in Chicago. We need you guys out here too asap! This place is extremely recommended if you're in Miami.

Depressive. Jalea was very oily and soggy. No flavorful at all, just salty. Tartar sauce is just mayonnaise with green onion inside ? Seriously? This isn’t Peruvian food come on. They clearly don’t care about the quality of their food. They just make it look pretty but lacks a lot in quality and execution.Who ever goes to this place and likes it, simply doesn’t know anything about food or has zero knowledge of real Peruvian food . Dear Customer you are paying too much for lousy “Peruvian food” . Even the lomo saltado is served with McDonald’s style fries ? give me a break.

What a disappointment with this restaurant. One of my favorites in Miami. I ordered via Uber eats. They quickly delivered and when I opened the bag I noticed they had sent me a chicken chaufa instead of a chicken causa. I called the restaurant and after a few minutes of holding the girl said she asked her manager and they said they would send me the causa. I was pleased until the moment she asked me to send her the chicken chaufa back. Not that I wanted it the chaufa but are you really asking for food to be sent back after the food has been in a house? To do what? Are you planning on selling it to someone else? Do I run that chance of getting food delivered to me that had been sent to another house first? And on top of that I had to call back and ask for the difference of the money they had charged me for the chaufa I didn’t order. Lastly, I had to wait another 45 min or so for the chaufa to be delivered. Just for that they should have not taken the chaufa back. Needles to say I didn’t eat the causa or anything else. I won’t be going or ordering ever again.

sazón y sabor peruano!!! recontra recomendado

We were looking for a good lunch near the Art Museum at FIU and boy did we get one! Best Lethe de Tigre, octopus and seafood stew/soup.

If you're looking for a good ceviche, this is NOT the place. Unfortunately the seasoning is not good and not worth $20.Presentation is ok, amount served is ok, but not taste at all.

Really good ceviche and Peruvian food. The Causa dish was great; it had all these different flavors. Drinks were made with passion and tasted good. I'm disappointed that they had no Pisco Sour drink, but other than that nice place and good food.

The beef in the lomo salteado was very thin not as good as other restaurants. Las papas a la huancaína we're Bland and flavorless. Will not be returning there
