I had walked in front of this place many times and today we finally went in to buy something. Our creams and strawberry-stuffed croissant was spectacular. I can't wait to try other items, like their "Pavlova" doughnut or the "Cronut."But beyond the delicious treat something happened while we were there that makes you want to support a business: We bought the donut-croissant and, as I was splitting it to share (it's big), a homeless man walked up to the window. I offered to slice him a third of our sandwich. As I was doing it, the owner or manager of the store almost literally jumped from out of the kitchen, "Eat your donut! Eat your donut! I will give him one"I could tell that it was a gesture of kindness towards and compassion towards the man at the window. But it was also a gesture towards my children to enjoy their treat. It was quick and it wasn't a "big deal," but it was genuine and it was very kind.Thank you for that!
Wow! These artisan doughnuts are at another level! By far the BEST I’ve ever had. There are such creative flavor combinations: maple bacon! Pavlova! Cheesecake!!! Even the classic doughnut is amazing! This place is a serious danger to staying in shape, haahaa! You can tell that the chef who created these exquisite morsels really loves his/her craft! It was memorable discovering this doughnut shop after the Monet exhibit at the ice palace (3 block walk).
How can you possibly make better donuts than New Yorkers? This family-run bakery has exceeded any and all expectations with out-of-this-world bittersweet and savory combinations, while keeping the traditional donut taste. Don't miss Boston cream and cheesecake (it's a special type of cheese but you should go and find out which one it is).
I’ve been to many places and tried so many different types of donuts.. Doughnut Break is HANDS DOWN the best donut I’ve ever tried!!!! Been in Miami for a month now and already had them three times :) the mango cheesecake is my favourite but all of them are soooo good!!!!!! Worth coming back to Miami for! ?
These donuts are AMAZING!!! We drive every weekend to Aventura mall to have our donuts! Our favorite is the one that has the strawberries,whip cream and custard filling!!! Literally every bite is just perfect! You won’t be disappointed!!! It’s Heavenly

What can I say..Juan Carlos you are a mastermind! I’ve traveled far and wide for donuts and I just so happened to stumble upon your shop today on my way back from Key West. Your love and passion just oozes out when you talk about your delicious creations! Its incredibly inspiring to hear and see someone that puts that much love into each donut. Now for the donuts..hands down the best Boston Crème donut I’ve ever had. So sophisticated with a dark chocolate, pistachio crumble and rich creamy filling! Super light and not overly sweet. The Manchego Cheesecake…I don’t feel worthy to have experienced such delightful flavors in my mouth. I’ve tasted over 1,000 donuts and this my friend is holding my #1 spot!! So thank you señior for the wonderful conversation and I will be seeing you soon ?
