I have the same that I was very surprised walking into this establishment. The ambience seemed very dark from the outside however the way that it is set up on the inside actually make the space feel lighter and more open if you will. We had an amazing waitress who recommended some fabulous strawberry frozen margaritas that were absolutely amazing. Knowing that I am deathly allergic to shellfish she also went above and beyond to make sure that whatever I ordered would not be cross contaminated with anything that we ordered. I ended up having some chicken tostadas that were absolutely delicious. Full of vegetables flavors and definitely are not a small portion. My friend ordered the crab and she said it was full of flavor and it came with two potatoes and two corn on the cob which she said could’ve done without however she said request it to be spicy and it was to her liking. The only reason I get this establishment three stars versus five is because I did feel as if we were chasing our waitress or being able to get water or anything of that sort but overall I would actually say it’s worth going back to you especially if you do eat shellfish!
My husband and I visited here for lunch..we enjoyed each other. We had a couple of issues, but didn't make a big deal. The lemon pepper & garlic butter seasoning were too salty...it sort of ruined our seafood. Then my husband asked our waiter to bring me a crab cracker, she said she would & never did..if they didn't have any tools she should've just said so..smh..Also, before eating our seafood boils we asked the waiter (a guy) whom brought out our boils for another roll of napkins because it was really low & his response was you have some & I responded back with it's low so he brought us back a few loose napkins instead of replacing the roll..that didn't make any sense to me..smh..Best believe this was our first and last time coming here..we will be sticking to "Crafty Crab"..Thank you ?

Good Friday, definitely a great day to come try our new neighborhood restaurant Crab Du Jour! They have Friendly & very attentive staff. Our Waitress NATALIA took her time to explain the menu & all options available along with some suggestions. After ordering she checked in on us, after the food arrived she checked in and continued to make sure everything was okay. Extremely grateful for her especially when it's hard to find people who like what they do & go out of her way to provide great service. The FOOD (Seafood Boil, Po'Boy Fried Shimp basket & Fried Fish basket) were absolutely delicious and their Crab Du Jour sauce was perfect! A special Thank you to MAXIMO for always making sure the tables were clean and cleared out dirty dishes etc. Ask for NATALIA, she's awesome!

Saturday Night … not a bad wait time. Staff are extremely nice. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The bar ?? Food came out quick ?. Happy they opened!
Amazing !!!! You need to come!! If you haven’t tried it yet you have to! The best boil in town. Also the ambience is so fun.Our waitress Matilda was the best and she was on point with her recommendations on food and drinks !Definitely will recommend to anyone ! Food almost gone !!!

This place was delicious. Amazing customer service, especially from our waiter Victor. Very sweet and attentive the entire time. For a place that just opened I’m happy to say we didn’t experience a long wait, and again food was delicious!!Will definitely be coming back soon for date night!
