$19 for a "grand slam" breakfast. Its a little high and i wouldnt have an issue with it if the food was good.. it was not.The eggs were undercooked (whites still transparent)The sausage was spoiled didnt notice at first but the taste and smell got me.Bacon was pre cooked and not reheated? Or maybe just way over cooked during prep either way, had the texture of jerky in the worst way possibleBreakfast potatoes were stale and bland.Also not all servers speak english, which is pretty on par for miami and didnt bother me being bilingual, just something to noteAfter a disappointing breakfast (and spitting out that sausage) i took a quick trip to the bathroom. Thats where i spotted our friend in the picture. Long story short, youll be paying for a stomach ache, avoid this one
Pretty good place for breakfast. 1 star deducted for forgetting my biscuits another star deducted for forgetting my sausages. Check your takeout orders thoroughly.
Plenty of parking..fast service. Food tastes good...prices too high..not all food delivered..bread was forgotten.Prices even higher..reb eye stakes 16$ a pound..shelves showing signs of low inventory
Very good. Fast & pleasant. Very few places like this left in west Kendall. Just a down home kinda place.
Entered the location around 1045am. Was served our drink after 20 minutes of being seated. We have a family of 3, another one of four and a gentlemen which were seated around us. All three parties were served their meals before us. What I couldn’t understand is that we are a family of 4 but we only ordered 2 large meals. Waste of time !! Hour and a half for terrible coffee!! Never again
Found this little gem the last time I was in town and ate there 3 times so I figured why change a good thing. Breakfast is always great and the service is exceptional. Will be my breakfast goto whenever I'm here.
Fast service as soon as we sat...food came out quick, hot, and correct. Great little diner.
Dint water your money visiting this place, you will be annoyed after a long wait your breakfast will be cold, yes cold, not even lukewarm and you coffee will be cold as well. Your toasts will arrive after your finished your breakfast and you asked the waitress three times for it. I have been at this place several times (not my choice) with friends for breakfast, every time this experience repeats itself. I fail to understand how dobthey manage to stay open.
After eating there on multiple occasions, this was our last rodeo! Our food was brought out separately. We had to send a meal back because the eggs were fried too hard and the omelette didn’t have any cheese. Then when it comes time to check out, we were overcharged a whole $20 extra. The server was going to allow us to walk out paying that amount until I pulled out my calculator and calculated the total myself. Then she made the comment well the meals are a little expensive here… Expensive?! If we felt the meals were too expensive for us, we would have never sat down to eat. Nothing is too expensive! That’s the wrong comment to make to paying customers due to a mistake that was made by the staff! Check your totals before you pay your tab!!!!
After living in neighborhood for several years, we decided to try this restaurant. Food was good, service excellent. Very good neighborhood restaurant.
