I often pass this place going to Magic City, however my plane was delayed & what a perfect timing to stop by. Parking lot is very small but you can use hotel next door for parking. They also offer valet which we used for a small $5 fee, and it was worth it. If we would have not valet we may have missed our flight. We ate outside on patio with a nice breeze coming through. It wasn't too crowded at all. We ordered drinks, appetizer, and main course food. The Martini dipped w/ Corona bottle was to live for. It was amazingly delicious & gave us the right buzz for a delayed flight experience. The price was not too bad either. The server was doing his job to the top-notch. He was very attentive & knowledgeable of the menu. Looking forward to returning real sooooooonnnnnnnnn.
We walked to the restaurant but it seemed to be easily accessible in traffic even during busy drive times. We sat outside and even though it was hot, the mister fans provided relief. Plus there was a nice breeze blowing that day so it was very tolerable.I had the All You Can Eat crab legs. EXCELLENT choice! It was the special of the day and did not disappoint. Our server, Luis even brought me some Old Bay to mix in my drawn butter. DELICIOUSNESS ON A PLATTER!!! He kept the refills coming so I was never waiting. Also, we went during happy hour. The Bikini Martini was refreshing. It reminded me of a pina colada.I got a slice of Tres Leches cake to go. Needless to say after finishing it off, I’m stuffed! I plan on visiting them again the next time I’m in Miami for authentically fresh seafood!
Awesome drinks and food. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and the food is always taste the same. Good with keeping up with quality. The price used to be a bit high but compare to inflation nowadays, it’s pretty much regular price. They also have live music on weekends, fun! Totally Miami vibe. If you get to stay around Miami airport hotels, check this place out.
Amazing atmosphere. We are staying in Miami tonight to leave for a cruise tomorrow. Catch of the Day was the perfect place to kick off our vacation. The place was buzzing around 9pm when we arrived with the Miami Heat game on. We ate at the bar and had great service. I had fish and chips and a 1/2 dozen raw oysters. My partner had the whole fried snapper. We finished off with chocolate mousse and flan for dessert. As we were finishing dinner, live entertainment was just getting started on the outdoor patio seating area. The performers already had the whole outdoor area dancing and having a blast. Awesome food, service and vibe!
I was disappointed. I was ignored when I first walked in. Maybe because I was a party of one? Even after they took me to a table, it took forever before anyone took my order. I ordered the fish and added a lobster tail and a dozen dollar oysters. The oysters were delicious. The Lobster was good. Tasty. The fish was super dry. I didn't even finish it. I finished and left disappointed.
Delicious food and great service. Awesome drinks as well. Will definitely be back. Seating outside was a plus
This place was a really fun surprise! We ended up at a hotel a few doors down and walked over for dinner, surprised to find the place packed on a Sunday night. We didn’t wait too long for a table and made it in just in time for happy hour. Our waitress was really sweet and the food was great! Would recommend to anyone staying near the airport.
We got in late and I walked around, this place was jumping. Dancing, live music, families and great looking food. I got fish and chips to go. Very good and plenty to eat. Very fast considering the crowd.
I have to commend the this restaurant. The food here is great. I am not a fish person, but the deep fried snapper sold me. The shrimp are huge. Great food, great atmosphere what more can you ask for.
One of the best meals we have ever had! The bouillabaisse is a must try! Mikey made the experience next level with his hospitality, and Frank is a rockstar behind the bar! We will be back!
