Amazing! One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The food was sooooo good. The service was spectacular. The prices are reasonable (especially for a Michelin Star restaurant). The band was entertaining and engaging. I would come back here 10000 times over. We went for happy hour but stayed well into the night. We didn’t want to leave.

So much fun at Cafe La Trova, best experience for listening classic latin music, including some colombian salsa songs. We strongly recommend this place for couples travelling to Miami searching for traditional cuban music, food and environment.

What is spectacular date night! It’s hard to know if you should call this place a restaurant or a bar or a live music venue. It has everything and then some. The food was delicious, the cocktails were prepared exquisitely, and the live band created such energy that you felt like you were in Havana. It is a testament to the overall experience that right in the middle of your meal customer stood up to dance. Once the live band was over, we made our way with cocktail in hand to the back of the venue where they have an 80s DJ night club. It was small, energized and super fun! If you know you’re going to be anywhere near Little Havana and you want to experience all that the culture has to offer, this is your place!
Really enjoyed our visit. Had all 4 types of empanadas and tapas plates. Really enjoyed the plantains and yuca. By then, the 4 of us were full. Good service, great music made for a great visit
From the Seafood Ceviche and the Cuban Sandwich Empanadas. Going to the Skirt Steak, Short Ribs, and Fish of the day. It was a wonderful meal. Even the coffee and Churro Waffles were excellent. This was recommended to me by a local. And it did not disappoint. I look forward to dining again.
I've been coming to this place for two year and we always enjoy the food, service and music. I was in La Trova Saturday June 4 and I used their Valet Parking Service. When I picked up my vehicle the keys were missing. I went after to get my key and they said that unfortunately my keys were lost and they don't want to replace them. I think that is a shame that La Trova hires the service of a irresponsible Valet parking company "IFAWAYE VALET PARKING LLC."
Wonderful dining experience in Little Havana! Food, service, and entertainment were a highlight of a holiday weekend to Miami. I would definitely return the next time I’m in town.
Best frangelico sour ever!!! Foods are amazing and too much fun with music bands. Definitely must to go at least one time.
