First the person that took my order was rude when I walked up acting as if he’s annoyed or something no customer service and when I was counting my money to make sure I gave him the correct amount he was closing the gate and huffing with an attitude even more just looking crazy at you with an attitude ugh. I haven’t tried the food yet but I’ll be back to write an additional review!!!! (Also it seems like it’s going to be a long wait)
Came across this place driving around Miami on vacation. It said oxtails on the building & we try to have oxtails in every destination we go to so we decided to check them out. The dark skin black man that was taking orders at the window was extremely rude. I paid attention how he talked to the male customers that came and his tone was different with them so I'm not sure why he was being so "sassy" with us. The oxtails were small, the portions were small but had good flavor. The ribs in the rib dinner were TOUGH. Another man, possibly the cook was in and out letting lots of flies in that place. I'm sure they were in there laying eggs like crazy. The flies were on the entire patio, we couldn't sit to enjoy the food. Bad customer service. Nasty of all the flies that were let in.
First time there. I had the half rack of ribs, macaroni and cheese and baked beans. Everything was delicious.
If you didn't go here yet I think that you're loosing 40 years of your life .some of the best meals I've had since I've been in Miami but don't let me have all the bragging go get yours and see what I mean great food

Tried this place for dinner and breakfast and they failed on both occasions. The ribs was chewy and nasty the rice and mac and cheese had no flavor. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt today for breakfast and it was horrible. The workers all seemed "off" or on something. I wouldn't recommend this place.
This place is a hidden gem, the food is made like a home cooked meal, it's real deal soul food ? BBQ real country BBQ big portions and the price won't break the bank either; Antwon is who you will deal with and he is very helpful, I just discovered this place about a week ago and I've been 4 times since that's how good it is, HIGHLY recommended, plus it's a small local family business, keep it in the family bro!!
No consistency in their food , you can get some okay ribs sometimes, Then you can come back the next week and get some of the worst ribs you ever had. I have gotten cold food ,so you know it was microwave. My friend got an order of fried shrimp with the shell still on. Needs a cook badly.
I only go here for pork souse, they never have chicken souse even though it's on their menu. I would have thought they'd take it off but now. However, the pork souse is pretty good
Brought this chicken sous today 30 minutes ago got home and literally 3 chickens and ALL JUICE
