Must be the best Indian restaurant in Miami. Great service and ambiance. My Entree wasn’t hot enough and I preferred it to be spicier. They happily made me a fresh one that was perfect for me.

Bombay Darbar is one of the best places to taste a great variety of plates from the Indian cuisine.Located in Coconut Grove, this restaurant offers excellent service and delicious food.If you are not an expert on Indian food, they’ll be happy to help you… our waitress was very kind and attentive, she explained us the menu and suggested the best options for us.Some tips:- You can chose how spicy you want your food, but always remember that this is very subjective.- Try to go with a group of friends or family, this way you’ll be able to share different plates.- The restaurant is pet friendly!- Try the Indian beer, it’s really good.

I give them 4.5 stars. Service is great super fast. The food was also good not the best but good. Wouldn’t recommend the lamb chops or tandoori lamb chops they had a uncooked spice taste and a gamey taste to it. I do recommend the butter chicken, chilli chicken was really good, chicken tikka Tandoori, veggie samosa, chicken biryani

We visited Bombay Darbar after a review from Davidsbeenhere and boy we were not disappointed at all. They are everything you would desire in a good restaurant. First off the ambience and feel of the restaurant is awesome and something to look forward to. You will feel like coming back to this place. The waiters were extremely courteous. However the most important thing in an restaurant is its food and you won't be disappointed at all. We ordered a Thali and Ala carte Butter chicken with Onion Kulcha and their Mango Lassi. Everything was very tasty and well worth the price (not at all pricey). The only thing I would say is that they could include a couple more options in the Thali. It only had like 1 entree' and I think one dal. Other than this, we totally loved it and will definitely go back.

Overall: happy to find a good Indian restaurant in Miami. The food was good and comforting. The spice level can be customized, but know that medium can be pretty strong.

We stopped by at this place when we were visiting Miami. It has a nice open ambience and is located in a good area. Service was good, but the food tastes quite average. Everything tasted okay, but the menu is too standard for an Indian restaurant in America. Similarly there is nothing great about the taste. They are just okay. The portion sizes were good but the breads are very small.

Good ambience, Tasty food, patient staff. What else can a parent with a naughty toddler expect? The paneer starter was spicy and tender ,chicken tikka marination was good , chicken mushroom curry is yummy mushroom was so good.Above all the mango juice was so good. We had to get one to go. ?

Amazing food ? we enjoyed it a lot

Some of the best Indian I had. Great flavors and chicken was well cooked. Will def come back

We received a recommendation for this restaurant so our expectations were high. That is probably why we were so disappointed. The staff were cheerful and accommodating. We originally were seated in a corner of a booth not facing one another. There was no place to put our legs and they kept hitting each other so we requested to be moved which the staff did quickly. We ordered chicken wings to start with cocktails. I asked the waiter to deliver our dinner after we finished the starter and cocktails but another man showed up with our dinner a few minutes later and dumped everything on the table. We felt VERY rushed. The restaurant was fairly empty so no one was waiting for our table. The chicken wing starter was absolutely tasteless. They were serve with a brown sauce that also had no flavor. Our main course was lamb chops tandoori and mango chicken. The lamb chops also had no flavor. If you concentrated you could faintly taste lamb. The chicken and lamb were either frozen or marinated too long to remove their taste. It was strange. We ordered three types of naan and each was delicious. They make naan well! The mango chicken was also good but the yellow lentils were watered down. They were like a soup. When the bill arrived it had printed on it a request to leave ASAP so the restaurant can use the table. That was rude enough but our waiter circled it in pen. I regret not taking a picture of it! The entire meal took under one hour, very rushed.
