I buy here weekly. Food is not over seasoned and tasty. Prices are very reasonable for soul food. Meal includes a meat, rice, and two sides. So really three sides. Ribs are great to. You can get a rib sandwich with no sides. Drinks are sweet but I like it.
The rib sandwich was delicious. I didn't have to wait long to get my order. I visited the restaurant around 11 PM after a comedy show.
The Fruit Punch and Lemon Aide, and Sweet Ice-Tea is exceptional you get the Supreme suck for yo buck! ? Yes!
This place is LEGIT for the best BBQ you will find anywhere. Not the best neighborhood, and is a bit of a ramshackle little shack, but the smokehouse takes up most of the building and the ribs have the deep, deep smoky flavor, tenderness, and tasty crust that only hours of smoking can impart. Also the best jerk chicken this side of Jamaica. Strictly pick up, and had a steady line of customers, but I only waited about 15 minutes in my car before my big order was ready, and the staff was also very nice. And only 12 bucks a dinner, which comes with about a pound of meat, white or yellow rice, and 2 sides. Oh, and the cabbage was the best I've tasted in my life, and I'm a cook. Best meal I've had in weeks. I hope this place stays around for a long time, because I'll be coming back regularly.
My first time having souse and it was good. I ordered a second one to take back home. Definitely on my list when I return back to Miami
I don’t know how they got 4 stars they need to firer them cook and them bad cashiers. They see a nice looking woman come in there they give them a hard time or a bad plate. She didn’t lock my plate closed never again I recommend Thor’s on 62 & 22 ave a variety
Was here visiting. Some of the best bbq I've had. I took my leftovers on the plane back home. Refused to let that good food go to waste lol bbq sauce was different but tasty
Food is good not great and they changed the size of there food trays so portions are smaller than before. The place need to have more light it's a little dark with no aviance. If curbside appeal doesn't matter to you then pay it a visit. There is no place to sit in or out and they only allow so many people at a time. You have to stand outside until time to order. Sundays are busy days so if you go after church wear comfortable shoes and lots of patients. There was a senior lady with a cane in the heat and no place to set and couldn't get inside and no one gave way for her.

Waited in line for approximately 45 minutes before my order was even taken and then the lady taking orders told me the wrong ticket number before I went back in to get the correct number confirmation....This place needs serious organization and better customer service....but I must admit the ribs and the sauce go well together. This place could be better with more employees.
