Delicious and unique! I've had arepas before but never cachapas before. It's like meat and melty cheese wrapped in a corn pancake type thing. First time I've seen this anywhere so come check it out!
Food, ambiance and service all excellent. Definitely worth a visit. Only thing to note is that it came with a lot of cheese so really depends on whether thats your thing….also make sure you try the chilli and garlic sauce.
Delish! This place hit the spot, the staff were super welcoming and provided excellent recommendations. I am also gluten-free and items I could eat were clearly marked on the menu. When I’m back in Miami, I’ll be sure to visit this place again!
Husband and I usually love to grab and go from this small spot… but we’re so upset, today they were already kicking people out when it states they close at 11, they were such in a rush that they didn’t even take the order correctly… when I get my order delivered I see that my order is all wrong. So upsetting to eat something not ordered. Give a 3 star to the service….
We had cachapas con queso de mano (cheese) this morning, perfect. Coffee was slow to come out a bit short staffed probably, but when it came out it was absolutely delicious. Place is clean, great selection of food, easy to park
Found this cute little spot on UberEats and WOW! Did not expect this to be a life changing experience. Ordered their Pabellón arepa which was pretty tasty and filling, as well as a side of guava/cheese tequeños and WHEWWWWW! HOLY LAWRDYYYY! Can I just tell you, prepare for your mouth to salivate EVERY time you remember them after you try them. Life changing experience to the point I will put up with my lactose intolerance just to have another bite. Of course the next day, I tried to reorder them in Costco quantities, but sadly they were closed my heart and soul cried the whole day. Thankfully they have reopened and I can satisfy this beautiful carb filled craving. This time I ordered the guava/cheese tequeños and the only cheese tequeños and OH BOY, were they good! BEST tequeños in Miami, that’s for sure!I’ll definitely be ordering from arepa bar many many many more times!! Rip my bank account
I'm gonna start by the end all my family got FOOD POISONING after eating arepas at this place. The arepa Pelua was really pricey, almost $14 but really small portion. Kitchen is hidden and you don't see where and how they prepare your food. If you want to spent the night at the toilet this place is recommended.
Worst place ever. Food seemed alright at first, very overpriced for a small arepa being around $14. Place was incredibly hot inside, steamy and uncomfortable to eat in. To top it all off, me and a group of 6 others got food poisoning. Seems there isn't much care back in the kitchen, definitely do not recommend you try this place.
My family and I rarely eat out. However, we went as a group yesterday afternoon to eat at the Arepa Bar in Wynwood Miami. One thing we didn't like was you cant see the kitchen at all, it was very stuffy and hot, since it was cool outside I guess they didn't have any a/c on. We ordered Arepas peluas which they said was the most popular. We didn't eat anything afterward. But in the middle of the night, one after the other had stomach cramps and nausea followed by severe diarrhea. Needless to say, it was overpriced for a single arepa no sides $13, and on top of all that we got sick. We looked today at inspections done by the health department and they just had an inspection about two weeks ago. but at one point had a problem with leaving prepared meat out overnight. I guess it hasn't changed. Definitely not recommended unless you want to spend your night in the toilet and miss work the next day.
Went here for dinner with some friends and the food was amazing. Not sure if the waitress knew English but luckily I spoke Spanish so I spoke for my friends an placed their orders. The place was really dope inside.
