So I came here yesterday First, let me start off saying the staff was amazing. Professional,Great Attitudes. I will come here just for the customer service. I ordered fried chicken, white rice, mac & cheese, cabbage. Plus Additional sides orders Lima beans, Potato Salad, Collar Greens, Mac cheese. & A sweet tea. I loved the food. Delicious. Well Seasoned. Only Complaint I have was you guys need bigger cups for the tea. Because baby my tea was gone less then 5minsIt was to good. Lol Keep Up The Good Work GuysGod Bless!
The service was exceptional. They were still in their first week when a friend and I went, so they were still working on their portions and the demand for them. They were sold out of almost everything!We are planning to go again, we want to try their ribs, cornbread, collared greens, and more of their amazing sweet tea.
A wide variety of food on the menu. But one hour after opening the fish was gone. Also the website doesn't list daily specials so what I wanted wasn't available. I waited until chicken was fried. The rice had to be steam cooked at home and all the food had a very mild flavor. Perhaps I'll try again, later in the day and pick-up my order. Friendly personnel though.
I’ve tried almost the whole menu, food taste different each time. The mac& cheese was ok the first time and it was great the second time but after that it received some that was so hard and crunchy on the top you can tell it was not cooked that day, then I had fried chicken, the first time it was 3 big wings fried just right and the next time I got 3 mini wings like the one you order from Pizza Hut , so together that equals 1 1/2 mini wings.. the greens and cabbage and string beans should be cooked more and seasoned, the barbecue chicken was good and the rice be hard sometimes, and the oxtails could use more seasoning and gravy, not clear gravy, and the smothered pork chops were good both way fried with light brown gravy and baked with dark brown gravy.. Now the owner and staff is really nice specially Desiree.. I want to continue to come but I’m tired of thinking what will turn up the next time I order.. I love to contribute to black owned businesses but please just give us a reason to keep coming.. not trying to bash because I will give it another try.. I’m waiting to try the turkey wings but they never have them available.. sorry not bashing but there is room for improvement. God Bless
I had the fried chix which was very tasty, however the rice was hard not cooked fully, the candy yams is good the green beans was unseasoned and undercooked, mac and cheese was good, potato salad they need to do better; no pickles only potatoes and eggs, the lima beans no taste at all no seasoning and not fully cooked. the restaurant has beautiful and has nice vibes, staff is friendly but the food needs some work on it.

I had the pleasure of getting the pork chop dinner with greens and Mac! It was very tasty! I really enjoyed that Antie Ruth’s punch I had to order two, and the customer service was on point
