Went with a colleahue for an early dinner and food was great. Korean fried chicken tasted very nice and juicy. The house fried rice was an excellent side. Attentive server. Definitely will go there again.
Hidden gem!Fusion cuisine with a dedicated staff (the server and the chef go above and beyond). The food was great because it is obvious that they are passionate above providing excelente service, and to serve quality food. The fried rice was incredible! Our appetizer was the highlight of our meal. Please try the malanga tots! I even ordered an extra one to go.Thank you Leo for being such a gracious host. We will come back.
The food, drinks, and service are amazing here! I second everyone’s sentiments stating that Amelia’s is a hidden gem. What makes it even better is the service; Leo is the BEST. We’ve been coming here over 2 years and come back just for him. He’s the best and makes the experience wonderful. He’s so knowledgeable and on point! He also makes the best Cuban coffee! We love coming here and highly recommend this place! The Cuban nachos with the oxtail and grouper with Korean fried rice are always delicious and fresh. Please make sure you go when Leo is working for the top notch experience!
What a pleasant surprise !After walking in the store front , you are taken back to a 1960's style quaint cafe atmosphere. The menu , although short and simple , is packed with tantalizing appetizers and flavorful meals. We found it difficult to decide so we chose to nibble and share several of their options including the crispy pork rind coated Mozzarella sticks , stuffed steamed buns , Korean glazed pork belly and Malanga tots topped with Vaca frita . We truly enjoyed the entire experience. We are looking forward to returning and tasting ALL the other plates we did not yet try.
This is a hidden diamond in Kendall. The ox tail nachos are worth my 1 hour drive. The staff is sweet and invested in the success of the restaurant. I can tell it is locally owned.
Amelia's 1931 has a cute, antique asthetic to it that will grab your full attention as soon as you walk in. Small place overall but the food packs big flavor. We got the bento boxes when we went and they were so good! They're not your traditional bento boxes, though. They're a mix of asian and latin cuisines. Definitely would come back to try more food. Only wish the menu was a bit bigger to provide more options than what was provided.
Amelia’s is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Miami. It’s small inside but that’s a good thing. Makes the whole place feel private and almost like your favorite, secret spot completely tucked away. Truly a hidden gem. Inside, it’s well decorated and service is always exceptional. The Cuban nachos and malanga tots are the best way to start any meal!

The restaurant was so quaint, clean and inviting. The food came quickly. The amount and quality of the food was very satisfying. The prices are fair for what you get. Leo, our waiter, was AMAZING! He was so knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful suggestions as this was my first visit. I would definitely go back.
