My husband and I just enjoyed our honeymoon at the W at South Beach, and we were blown away at the professionalism, friendliness, and courtesy of the staff! Alex and Rigoberto at the front desk were excellent and went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing stay. The hotel itself was beautiful, well kept, and clean. Everyone from the housekeepers, ambassadors/bellhops, and concierge was professional and looked out for the enjoyment of their guests. We will absolutely be back!
Do yourself a favor and come to the W south beach for a couples trip. We are here for our honeymoon and know we made the best decision choosing this property. Andrew, the W insider, came and greeted us on the beach personally and all the beach staff have treated us so well since we have arrived. they have such a great energy about them! Starting our trip off right and feeling lucky to be here with such kind people at the W. I will add the property is also flawless :)

Clean, sleek rooms with comfortable beds. Hotel grounds were well kept. Shout out to Luz that helped us with a room change for our toddler to the 3rd floor and to Keion for helping us tour the rooms, tips on south beach and help with our luggage. We’d stay here again.
I had stayed at the W Hotel and got a cabana on the last day. Dave Prince was our waiter for the day. Was such a stellar guy, gave us everything we needed and super prompt. Will definitely be coming back again.
By far the best W we've ever stayed at! Everything about this place--from the lobby to the rooms to the pool--is stunning. They even have original Andy Warhol pieces decorating the hotel. The staff is also amazing--a special shout-out to Andrew in the front office and Nina at the pool for their hospitality. We'll stay here during every Miami visit.
After reading all the reviews I had pretty high expectations and was excited for my stay.Overall it was just okay. I had multiple issues in my room when I first walked in (AC not working properly, fridge broken, toilet not flushing, stains on bed sheets). There also is not a lounge on this property. The staff did host a mix and mingle event for elite members which was much appreciated. It was great getting to speak to Santiago and a few of the other staff members.The beach front is clean and a few steps away from the hotel. If you get there before 10:30 am on the weekends you should be able to snag a chair. Service on the beach was pretty slow and most guests were constantly trying to get ahold of the waiter. Food/drinks were pricey and mediocre. The pool gets just as crowded but service is quicker and there’s a better selection of food/drinks. The W restaurant on site was also good.Like I mentioned previously this hotel is just okay. I wasn’t wowed by anything in particular. Is it worth over $900 USD a night? Absolutely not. If you are an Elite member, I would stay at the Ritz nearby or another property.
We had an amazing time at the W South Beach! The service at the beach and Pool was top notch! Ana especially and ALL the staff were nice and kind and went above and beyond to make my birthday special! Thank you W for a wonderful weekend!
While on a birthday trip for a friend, we received amazing customer service where everyone was so attentive, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, happy and having fun! Anna took incredible care of us, as did our server Jennifer. So happy we came here and would recommend for any girls, couples or friends trips!
