This week my friend and I visited Miami Beach for Spring Break. We are both fans of arts and culture and the Bass Museum was definitely on our hit list.Admission was $15 - it is free for locals, seniors and students. There are three exhibits on the main floor and another one on the second floor. We did the entire museum in about an hour. I have been to better museums and expected a little more art from painters I knew; however, I did appreciate the unique interactive exhibits on the bottom floor.I think if you are a Miami resident or can receive free admission, the Bass should be on your list.

It’s a sweet little museum that features really, really helpful and knowledgeable staff. You won’t spend more than an hour here, most likely, but you will have spent that hour well. Enjoy!

Small museum but great people and great interactive art! Very interesting concepts on display!

Cool museum, but really small and no parking spaces readily available.

A nice museum and can easily spend time really fully checking out every piece or walk through in about an hour. It’s $15 for admission though there are a lot of ways you can get in for free like being a Miami resident. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was strict masking procedures and very clean. They there was a very thoughtful presentation of the art and the artist.

Fantastic Contemporary Art Museum! If you're looking for some time to kill, this is most certainly worth the visit. Grounds are clean, architecture is beautiful and exhibits are great. Staff is very informative of exhibits and very friendly. However, by nightfall I must admit the grounds do transform into a nesting area for the South Beach homeless. Advise caution while traveling through at night.

I'm new to Southern Florida and decided to venture out and see some local sites. The Bass did not disappoint, I enjoyed the contemporary art and met a very friendly employee. I believe her name was Sheva, she made my experience that much better with her knowledge and sense of humor.

A portal, a unique perspective, an escape route lined with with surreal yellow blossoms to twist perceptions and paint expressions of new realities. Ideas, thoughts, colors, domesticities electrified and on display presented as a feast for the eyes. Freely explore as a Miami Beach resident. The cafe and shop are just cherry!

You walk into this museum and not only will you see very lovely and unique art but most importantly you meet the most awesome and kindest people who work there? who will have the answers to your questions.

If your staying on or near south beach and you are a lover of arts you need to check the Bass out. Not only was the curated art amazing and interactive but the gallery staff engages with public and are there to tell you more about the art work. I have been to my fair share of contemporary art museums but the experience I had at the bass raised the bar. The staff def had a lot to do with my amazing experience. I learned so much.
