This place was pure robbery! So to start you have to pay to buy tickets- fine. We bought tickets to enter. Then they shuffle half downstairs and half upstairs. The people upstairs had to pay $20.00 per person to go downstairs in cash or you had to stay upstairs all night.Husband bought a drink and a beer- $40.00Husband bought same drink and beer two more times from different bars in the club and each time was a different amount (not including the tip we gave). Then the last drink he bought by itself with no beer and they charged 27 dollars for the drink. They will charge you whatever they feel like so get ready! They charge you and pocket the difference. It’s insane how the same items cost different. The guys charging money to go downstairs- same thing. Pocketing the cash.Second time In Miami at the clubs and they all do it. I work hard for my money but I do it honestly and not by robbing people to rip them off.
I went there Saturday 18th June.. DJ Khaled was supposed to be doing a set, ronaldhinio was there (legendary footballer) and Drake was there as well. With names like that - you KNOW it's a high end club. Now I've been clubbing in a dozen countries, from London, to Budapest, to Thailand, and others. Most clubs will have a VIP area for bottle service, which is normal. The thing I personally didn't like about story is that the layout is set up to get you looking in on the tables that cost thousands of dollars, and unless you are having bottle service, you can see you are basically surplus to requirements for the club and you are all dancing on the outskirts of the middle of the club where the ballers are with their expensive tables. It's an exclusive club, so I get it. But it's still designed for the wealthy and for the status of getting yourself those exclusive tables. But the music was great.
This was so fun inside. The design is also good but their process for entering is SO inefficient. It’s ridiculous. The VIP people go last after the general crowd is in their way. And they take FOREVER to fill it up which is rlly boring. I found that people weren’t super social here but it was a really great vibe. Would have probs been better if it wasn’t spring break.
Scam!!This place charged people hundreds for entry per person by claiming 2-chainz was coming but not a single chain showed up all night lol. Careful when they claim that someone else is coming to have you buy tickets. The bartenders refuse to serve free water cup even if you are buying a lot of drinks. It’s a common courtesy at all bars, and I expect better from this business.Avoid is this place.
This place by far is the best club in south beach, the music, lights, people, energy, and drinks. They have it all x100.Staff was super amazing and helpful, my server was the best I could hope for. She gave me ideas on the type of bottles they have and what she recommended because I’ll be honest I never really know what to drink specially when I got 15 people with me.Security was amazing, helped out my friends personally to the bathroom and back, made sure nothing was done to them or our table.Table service was great, the bussers/server assistants were one of the best. Table is always as clean as possible, like if we walked in for the first time. Responds fast when ask for different little things, like juices, straws, cups being refilled.Overall I had a beautiful experience and I been to a bunch of places in the states, I could easily say that Story Miami brings out something in you that you might not get in other places. I truly recommend this place if you want to have a crazy night in Miami. Tickets are pretty cheap considering everything is there to offer in Miami.
A lot of bad reviews which is very surprising. This is by far one of the best clubs in Miami. Best sounds system I ever experienced and I’ve been to A LOT of clubs. The club is designed in a way that you can circle around the front row very easily. What I also like about it is that if you are at the front row you can easily use the side stairs to go to the bar or the bathrooms. The bar area is huge. You can see the DJ closely very easily. I’ve been to story countless times and I will always go back
I came out to the club looking to have a good time. Got more then I expected. My waitress Alisha was the best server. She and another women were constant and very professional the whole night. I will definitely be back and ONLY recommend Alisha. Thanks
The girls and I went to Miami for my birthday trip and this place was highly recommended. We decided to check it out and from the get go we knew we were going to have a great time! the checking in process was great and timely. We had Melisa as our Server and she made the ordering process quick and easy. She even gave us a special presentation because it was my birthday! ! ! She made everyone have a great time and was able to answer any questions i needed to know about the tab. If You’re ever in Miami, Highly recommend requesting her as your waitress, She was awesome! We felt so special and welcomed. All the staff was friendly. Music was on point and so was security. All in all the night was one for the books!
I went to Story several years ago with a group of girls in the VIP section at the lower level that they normally let in group of women for free. We all took a group photo and my phone was pick pocketed at the club. I went to go complain to the bouncer that took me to the assistant manager. He was extremely rude to me and my friends. He accused me of being drunk and just losing it. Mind you, I just got there and didn’t have anything to drink yet. I will NEVER return to Story and NEVER recommend going to that club. The staff was extremely rude to me and I was not confrontational. I was upset in tears because I just bought that phone (fully paid). And then I got it stolen so quick when I was there from my purse. Ladies, do not take a purse there. The staff is empathetic and doesn’t care what happens to your personal items and make you feel inferior. They didn’t bother to help, search cameras, ANYTHING!
So for the past 6 months this club has done nothing about stopping pick pocketing. We flew down for vacation and decided to hit up some bars and clubs. The unfortunate truth is that this place has an issue with people being pick pocketed and nothing gets done about it. I wish we would’ve done better research on this because after that night 20 people either “lost” their phones, wallets, and cash. You can say that people should’ve been more careful but you can be as careful as possible and someone will find a way to get your belongings. I witnessed people running around scrambling to find their stuff and the bouncers not doing anything about it, even though they had suspects in custody. When brought up about looking at camera footage, the bouncers refused. When faced with the issue at hand, the workers had no remorse. They only stated “Well you need to take better care of your things” or “There is nothing we can do.” Even with eye witnesses. It’s just very unfortunate because this club was fun at first, but then ruined the night for us when our phones went missing. We tried tracking the phones, calling them, pinging them. I work in wireless and tried everything that I could possibly think of.The bouncers were more worried about keeping a lane open for VIPs which caused them to cram all the people on the dance floor together, which in return allowed others to easily be pick pocketed. Personally, I am baffled that the bouncers on the dance floor weren’t doing their job of being somewhat attentive. They are there to keep people safe and away from harm. I will continue to tarnish the rep of this club until something is done about it.Thank you for reading my rant and I genuinely hope you stay away from this place, for your own good.
