Bad review not because of the quality of their pizza (which I wasn’t able to ascertain) but because we ordered a pizza that never showed up because just as it was supposed to be delivered the restaurant cancelled the order on us leaving us dinner-less at 10pm.
I wanted to like it, but it was bad. The dough was soggy, and bitter from mushrooms liquid, I guess they did not drain. The plain pizza was just not tasty. Very little cheese, and sauce was just week.
What a pizza!!!!! This was so good I wouldAbsolutely go back. I got the classic because I think if you get that right then the rest is easy! And it was so good, crunchy heaven! Chewy when it’s supposed to be, the sauce is tangy with the salty cheese ufff what a combo! What a pie! If you’re not into thick pizza then you have to have an open mind because this thing is like jumping into a soft fluffy mattress of delicious flavors! I was surprised I loved it so much and writing this makes me want to go back again tomorrow!
Ordered gluten free pizza because of celiac disease and was not given gluten free.Edit: I literally have no idea what the restaurant is talking about below. I simply picked up my pizza and ate it. Must have been a mistake with another customer too.
Amazing pepperoni deep dish. Tastes like right out of a detroit midwest oven. Crispy and tasty crust, amazing tomato sauce, and great quality pepperoni.
This pizza is like a thick piece of chewy toast with tomato, garlic and cheese on top. Very disappointing.. plus the buzzer system doesn't work and my pizza was there getting cold..and the lady doesn't seem to care
Let me preface this with I really only know Detroit style pizza from Jets and Little Cesar's, so I'm by no means an expert.Just came from there. I love crispy pizza but unfortunately this crust was burnt burnt and tasted like ash. The sauce and cheese helped offset the ash flavor, but ash won overall.I'd try again cause everyone deserves 2nd chances, especially Detroit pizza in Miami Beach, but I'd check the underside next time before leaving and get extra sauce.
Better then all places in Lincoln rd. Get it fresh!!! Detroit style is the future. Crispy crunch and cheesy
This is our 3rd time here in the last few weeks and I have to say each time we’ve tried and shared a different type of pizza and they’ve all been amazing! I typically love Neapolitan & New York style pizza, But I have to give it to Detroit’s, they’ve got a great product here! The dough is fluffy, the pizza super tasty -The pepperoni is my favorite- the Italian sausage was my hubbys but I found it too spicy. It comes with four square slices so definitely plenty to share and it’s made fresh to order so no stale pizza under the heat lamp or reheated in the oven. If You’re in the area you’ve definitely got to stop by and try it!
My first time trying Detroit style pizza and was very happy with it. Detroit-style pizza is a rectangular pizza with a thick crust that is crispy and chewy. Ordered the meat lovers pie. I’m from New York and very loyal to NY style pizza, but Square Pie City definitely delivered a quality pie. Will be back!
