Finding good Chinese food in Miami mainland or the Beach has become quite the challenge. Where did all the great Chinese restaurants go? I am a native Miamian and it seems one by one the best Chinese run restaurants have slowly left the area . So what a pleasant surprise it was for me to find this little gem last week . My husband asked me to grab some Chinese food for his mother for a small family dinner at her house. Based on reviews and my gps recommended route to my mother in law’s house I chose this restaurant. I called in my order and picked it up. I was surprised at how expensive the final bill was but : we are in post covid , this IS Miami Beach, I’ve gotten larger portions for my money but NOT the quality of this food. Upon entering , the place is small but very cute and clean inside. I realized once i got there that I have passed this restaurant a 1000 times and never noticed it. My order consisted of egg drop soup, egg rolls, special fried rice, pork lo mein, and egg foo young( which wasn’t on the printed menu but the woman who took the phone order said they make it ). The food was VERY fresh and tasty! Everybody in the family raved about how delicious it was. My picky mother in law who eats like a bird had two servings of the soup and ate some of everything. She even asked where did we find such tasty Chinese food . My favorite Chinese dish is egg foo young and, personally I thought this restaurant prepared the best and freshest I EVER had. And this place still serves homemade Chinese mustard !!! The last time I’ve seen that in Miami was ages ago. We have added this restaurant to the neighborhood favorites we will surely order from in the near future. I finally have found a good local Chinese restaurant again.
The place offers a vast range of fresh food. I loved dining here. Staff members are always super friendly, rates are convenient and the spot is always kept clean.
Best thing was the Coca Cola.
Great local restaurant. Service was fast and efficient. Decor is contemporary. Food is delicious with large portions. I highly recommend
Ok food at best, crazy over price. My take " dont even think of going there" all the other 5 stars must be from friends and family.
Terrible food. Wonton soup was all oil, dumplings all dumpling no meat, egg rolls no guts inside, and mushrooms come from a can. Chinese is definitely one of the harder things to find in miami and I have been here my wholeLife. This is not the one there are way better . Very disappointed. No rice came with the delivery. Do I need to lay extra for white rice.
Dinner was exquisite, prepared with the best ingredients and they also have an extensive menu. your waiters very attentive and polite.
I went there for the commercial of a radio station. Total disappointment! Whoever say that the food in that restaurant is good, is either lying or never tried Good Chinese food. Besides, just one person for the whole Salon, while the Asian staff were there just for payments and pick-ups. They charge you a service charge, (?) new trend/fashion, that goes straight to the Company, not to the employees. They receive tips. I can not understand why you have to pay almost 7 Dollars for it. Hands Up! Ali Baba from Canton is here!
Got very upset when I got to open the box with the fried rice (ordered to pickup) "special" (includes different type of meat, pork, chicken, sea food) and find out that it was just a box full of rice with a very few pieces of "special" ingredients... Paid $15+ for a box of rice. Very disappointed did call to let them know and the person on the phone all the she said was, "don't worry for the next time it wont happen again" did ask for a manager to speak with... and either, there was nobody with authority to take the claim. Hope I won't feel the urge to eat from there again. ?
