Amazing, how can I possibly describe this restaurant. The decor and ambiance is like stepping back in time. And Foodâ¦â¦â¦ Filet Mignon Au Poivre was spectacular. But the lamb shank, was on a different realm. Parking was terrible. So walk, crawl, or Uber . I will do any of the above to come and eat at Rouge. Thank you for a fabulous evening. What a hidden gem! It took me out of miami and into a beautiful bistro in France or Morocco. The staff were very pleasant and caring. Not obnoxiously, excuse me, French. They were so warm. The food as outstanding!!!!!! The piano player added an ambiance that was amazing! Go to be taken into a romantic tradition of fine dining. TheWineCollectors

Wonderful experience. We had not been here in several years. For appetizers: Escargots and Romaine Wedge with Goat Cheese; Entrees: Lamb Shank & the Fillet Mignon with Pepper Sauce. The wine selection was small and a little pricey. The only drawback with the meal was the fillet was served by itself on the plate and potato chips on a side dish. If the potatoes had been roasted, boiled, some other vegetable but on the plate with the fillet, it would have made it more visually appealing, and while the steak was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was wonderful; chips with a fillet did not pair well. It also has a nice bar to sit for pre-meal drink. Did not check the outside dining area.
Lovely love music and great food. Wine by the bottle looked great but limited by the glass.
