Prime 112 Restaurant

So disappointed! I have been bragging about this restaurant for years to my family. Finally, on my mother’s birthday vacation, we dined at the restaurant. The marinara sauce was not the same. It was watery and sweet with no flavor. Pre-pandemic the sauce was thick, savory, and delicious. The bread was lukewarm and the cheese inside was different, not the gooey goodness from before. The sea bass lacked flavor as well. The Kobe meatball spaghetti had the same bland sauce so it wasn’t as good either. The meatball was tender and moist like I recall, but a real bummer the sauce was terrible. The chicken parmigiana was mainly bread with very little chicken. I told the waiter about the changes in the food and he apologized and told us he would let the manager know. However, the manager never came to our table, terrible management inaction. I would have liked to inform him about the lack of quality in the food. There wasn’t a lot of people dining like days of the past, which is an indication of the decline in the food. Prime 112 was packed across the street so the day of the week is not an excuse, it’s the food. Also, the restaurant did not acknowledge my mother’s birthday, unacceptable! Due to all of the above, Prime Italian has lost long-standing customers and I will not brag about this restaurant anymore. It’s a shame, my friends were excited to try it next month when vacationing. In the past, I loved Prime Fish, but now I’m hesitant to take my family, maybe it has declined too.

Family dinner was great.

I’ve had dinner at Prime 112 but Prime Italian was a whole new experience. The crab stuffed Ravioli with Lobster and Caviar was to die for. I definitely will be back on my next visit to Miami.
