The manager lied that the pool table didn’t work so we couldn’t play. The beer is great but they SAY THEY ARE a POOL bar and then they do that. I don’t like being lied to. Worst manager ever. See the picture it’s unplugged. And what are the odds that both tables don’t work together.Otherwise the staff is amazing, the manager sucksssss!!!!
Appauling service due to auto 18% gratuiity! This place has been a landmark on Miami Beach for a long time. Definetly not what it use to be. Avoided it for a year because i had a roach crawl on the bar while i was eating n was measely offered a free drink. Came back to give them a shot as cool bar next store stops food at 10. Really a bad experience. Horrible service, bad manners, and the person that appeared to be management repeatedly complained of boredom as empty patron glasses were directly in his view. Please retrain staff on customer service as this place doesn't know the basics especially with 18% gratuity when your 7 miles from South Beach.
his place use to be good. They lost all work ethics, good service and good employees. Use to be a good spot to go to. I placed an order online in which it showed NO WHERE that they couldn't deliver. I got a rude girl on the phone and wanted to cancel the order before it was made since I was unable to pick it up. She told me she couldn't help with that and that I would have to call back in 15 mins and SEE if the manager would still be here and see if he could cancel it for me. I told her I would wait and she hung up on me. I have been calling for over 45 mins and no one answers the phone. She is probably screening the calls to not pick up. This is unacceptable!
We stopped by Norman's Tavern today and sat outside because of the beautiful weather. The serving staff there is so very nice! Our server, Michael, was very attentive and knows the menu very well. The food that we ordered was delicious! We both had Skirt Steak with Churrasco sauce, mashed potatoes, salad, and an order of Rice and Beans. We added Pinot Noir to our dinner. The steaks came out perfectly as we ordered, which was medium. All the sides were absolutely great! I couldn't believe we were at a Tavern. I don't mean that in a bad way either - it's actually a compliment! I know that some taverns have the best food and this is one of them! In addition, we ordered the Key Lime pie, which had a crispy crust. It was great!! We plan to go back soon. The place is well laid out, clean and tidy, quick service, and a friendly staff. We didn't go inside because of Covid. We found parking easily just a few steps away. It's casual and right in the heart of things.
Absolutely amazing burger!! Very well cooked and very tasty!! Fries and onion rings are good too!! Service is good and right on Collins Avenue so sit outside to enjoy the view!! Within walking distance of many hotels!!

From the moment we approached the hostess to the time we departed the restaurant it was a beautiful experience. We were met with friendly smiles and treated as if we were royalty. And they did that for each guest that arrived. The meal we ordered was absolutely delicious. Seasoned to perfection and plated beautifully. My wife and I truly enjoyed our date night out. Thanks.
I had the Mahi Mahi fish tacos and they were very good and their white peach sangria is perfect. I also had the grilled calamari. Not bad... a bit too salty for my taste though. What I didn't like was that I ordered the salmon and specifically asked if it was farm raised or wild caught. The hostess left and then came back and told me to my face that it was wild caught; little did she know that I could tell the moment they brought it out. Soon as they brought it out I knew that I wasn't eating it because it was farm raised. I let it sit there while I finished my salad and then kindly asked them to take it back. I really didn't like that so that's why they get two stars. I probably won't go back to them when I visit Miami Beach again for this specific reason. Do better and don't lie to the patrons.
Love this restaurant for weekend brunch! Always great service, and delicious food. The staff is super friendly, and always makes your feel at home. The coffee is also quite good. I typically order the Shrimp Scramble, but the Banana Granola Pancakes are also to die for. You seriously can't go wrong at Norman's. It's always a terrific experience.
