Visited Maxines Bistro and Bar several times during our Miami holiday. Mostly for lunch but also a few dinners. Most of the time we was happy both with drinks.food and staff. Last dinner was a real down turn. Special when it came to food quality. Will eat at other restaurants next time.

Food was so good, we ate there twice on our vacation! had dinner one night, seafood and drinks. Went back for breakfast the next morning! Huge menu selection! Everything was fabulous!

I loved the vibe of the place - it has great outdoor seating and live music… however the service was awful.We waited an hour for 2 wraps and a sandwich. Our waitress (Ester) couldn’t be bothered when we asked about it and I had to go find someone else to check on our food for us. Tip is automatically included she didn’t have a need to make sure we were happy I guess.The redeeming quality was that the food actually was pretty good.However, my sandwich had all sorts of extra items on it that weren’t on the menu - it was still really good, just not what I ordered. ?We probably wouldn’t go back.
Service was nothing special, it took three tries to get us the complete breakfast on the table. After claiming the missing coffe which wqs part of my breakfast it came and ended up in the bill. Quality was nothing special, poor service, high prices, not to recommend

Lovely covered outdoor patio with fans. Very comfortable, right on the street. Upscale casual with ability to sit big tables. Friendly responsive servers. Excellent breakfast and lunch spot. Great Wraps and burgers.
Went for breakfast. Bad cappuccino. Awful eggs Benedict. Pretty awful overall. Even the service was slow. !! Remember that your tip is already included on your bill!! Keep moving.
We were staying across the street and needed dinner without a reservation. We were seated immediately outside which provided good people watching! No kids menu but we ordered a cheese pizza (yummy!) and a Caesar salad (also very good) and chicken tenders. I also ordered a margarita (medium) which came with sticker shock at $28 on the bill. After gratuity included, it felt awfully high for what we had. But we did enjoy the pizza and salad very much. Be prepared to wait - food takes a while to come out, as others have mentioned.
