By far the best experience my boyfriend and I have had down here. The staff is AMAZING!!! Especially my girl Suki!! Had so much fun we are back again. I highly recommend enjoying a night here!!
We are staying at the Viajero hostel, and because this restaurant is downstairs and I had limited time to take a lunch break from work, we decided to have lunch at Matilda's. After ordering, we waited for over an hour, and I had to leave my husband waiting for the food. Finally after about an hour and a half, he received the food in boxes, and we had to eat uncomfortably in the room. We paid over $80 for 1 cocktail, 1 appetizer (4 shrimp for $19 with a different sauce than was listed on the menu) and 1 burger. The experience left me never wanting to come back, which is a shame, because the food was good (though overpriced). A simple apology for the delay (or a free dessert ?) would have gone a long way.
When the coffee order is wrong (ordered a cappuccino and was served Americano) and you are seated at one of only two tables with customers, it’s a problem..Avocado toast was good. Menu in the restaurant is not what is shown in OpenTable. Am a SoBe local and can confidently say this is the worst brunch on the beach.
Expensive but yet very delish,upscale,romantic.Eat inside or out.Music playing with good music.Good drinks..Awesome staff..been to Miami tons of times and this was my 1st time eating outside on south beach and im glad we chose this place

This place is AMAZING, the customer service is top rated. I had the steak and shrimp with a house salad and it was perfection. The drinks are so good as well. Ask for Benjamin when you go, he is such a attentive and awesome waiter!
I spent several mornings and evenings at that place during my stay. They have amazing food and drinks, it's always happy hour and the bartenders are very kind and funny. The atmosphere and the DJ complete this place to make it close to perfect ! I definitely recommend it :)My only negative feedback is the serving team on Monday evening 02-07 was the worst ; sat there for 15 minutes with no one showing up because they're too busy talking to each other and almost made me pay the drinks twice (my friend had already paid her share), had to call them several times to actually place an order.
I literally had 3 random waitress come n check on me before I took a few bites of my meal but once I was full and ready to go I had to wait about 15 minutes for a waitress to give me a second of there time. Finally as promised I was able to pay for my meal. I ordered the fish and steak which was good but needs some type of sauce on the side. It was dry but tasty. Overall am okay place to go drinks awesome. I stick by my 3 stars
