Such a great experience. Easy to book via OpenTable. Host stand very sweet and read the notes it was a birthday and asked whose it was. Very kind. Kara was our rockstar. Walked us though menu which was super helpful. Guided us on what to order based on our personal preferences and spice preference. I highly suggest the menu tour. What I really appreciated is you could tell she really cared and wanted us to not just have a meal but an experience. Such a kind soul. The atmosphere was pretty. Outside has a large amount of greenery but it was to hot to enjoy it. We sat indoors. Very pretty. Very rustic. Food comes out when ready which was nice. Sweet pea guacamole- little bit of a kick but delicious. Fried Potatoes- asked for a side of aioli which was a perfect compliment. Super good. Steak- the Chimichurri sauce was a perfect accompaniment. Cooked perfectly. Pollo and Chicken- the most filling of the dishes. On the sweeter side. We added the Habanero sauce per chefs recommendation. Made the dish perfect. Drinks can me made to order. Kara suggested my drink which was not in the menu. Super sweet and delicious. Staff on point. Always replacing out plates and wiping table. Appreciated the birthday dessert for my hubby. Great great meal.

The food is just good. Itâs not amazing, nothing will blow your mind. The desserts are really bad. This is a JG restaurant and the tres leche cake at Hillstone is 10X better. Not sure how a chain restaurant has better food than JG, but they do. I used to come here for the tacos. They were great. Now they are still good, but they have raised the prices over 40% they were great for $16 , but for $25 they arenât that good. Arroz con pollo used to be $28 itâs now $42 for rice ⦠You use to come here for knowing you were are going to pay a premium for quality food, now you are paying fine dining prices. If you notice on their menu online they hide the prices, itâs for a reason.

What an OUTSTANDING experience we had at the Matador Room, Miami Edition. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the charming host Andres, to being personally welcomed by the GM Ely who made his way right over to introduce himself and was so very personable. I love a Manger like Ely who is on top of everything- VERY IMPRESSIVE. My husband and I were treated like royalty. Not only are the food and atmosphere superb, but the level of Customer Service here is beyond excellent. Our server Daniela, and her assistant Isaac, were awesome with great recommendations and constant tending to our every need. David also kept our drinks refilled at all times and checked on us constantly. 5 star service from all. The food was delicious, and we were lucky enough to stay for a shift change and were spoiled by Giselle and Valeria- outstanding bartenders who made some excellent drinks and continued the 5 star service along with another Manager named Alba who was so kind and sophisticated-what an exceptional employee. We were so impressed with the level of Customer Service and overall everything was phenomenal. THANK YOU Matador Room for such an amazing culinary experience. We are so grateful.
