We sat outside on a wonderful evening with a nice ocean breeze. But we had the misfortune of an event happening on the lawn below us that had a band, so hearing was hard during dinner. The food was good, the tuna carpaccio, the deviled egg oysters, wasabi oysters, and the filet. But it was also expensive, $60 for a good not great filet and $20 for a glass of wine.
not the new york restaurant that i love… i got a lobster and steak and the lobster was served with clarified butter, which tasted like oil. ruined the lobster. they gave a 20% discount but it was still 150$ for a very small steak and bad dry and cold lobster that was inedible. The server/bartender without asking gave me the 20%, very nice. however another bartender didn’t know what a gruner was… i just expect with fine dining prices, every server be trained to at least know the wines on their wine by the glass list? a gruner? as a former server this is just basic. do yourself a favor and just go get some cuban food. go to the new york restaurant if you want the real lure.
I had high expectations for this restaurant. Service was great, and they were extremely busy. However food was just average, nothing over the top.
Fine dining atmosphere is on point. Service is OK, not what I would expect at this price point. Food is decent
Amazing food, service and ambience - we made a reservation as friends were staying at The Loews Miami and we were not disappointed.Dennis was a wonderful host, didn’t steer us wrong with any of his recommendations!
I love the ambiance of this place. As soon as I walked in I realized I was under dressed for the experience but that was do to technical issues when getting ready. It’s a lovely place to dine. I loved my experience. The clam chowder and biscuits were fabulous but, the crispy snapper for 2 did not meet my expectations. The sauce was too salty. Sorry I didn’t take any photos.
We attended a SOBE event at the lowe and stopped at Lure for a drink and snack Sushi is very well prepared and items are in.store like Turo. The drinks are well made service is average. My bill was over charged But all in all I will be back
fairly pricy, but arguably worth it. delicious handmade cocktails, fresh seafood, and speedy bartenders
Love love love Lure! The atmosphere, food and service are outstanding! Dennis was our server and he was attentive and helpful with his knowledge of the menu! Drinks are strong and excellent! Seafood items are fresh! Steak melts in your mouth! I recommend the shrimp and edemame for appetizers! Dinner has endless choices that are delicious! This restaurant remains consistently good and great service!
Not close to fine dining, no dress code, loud profanity allowed, left over old lobby furniture, a chair broke under another patron. Food was ok. Capable staff.
