PROS: Lively atmosphere, bright decor, spacious, clean restroom. Huge portions. Fresh tasting food.CONS: Ate Peruvian food in NYC that blew my mind with flavor. This didn't compare. Slightly undercooked grilled fish fillet. Nothing tasted like it couldn't have been thrown together in your kitchen. More attention needed to be paid to many customers waiting to pay and leave. There's an automatic 17% tip added but it can easily be missed on the receipt as it asks you if you want to give (another) tip. Essentially of you didn't read the receipt properly you'd end up tipping twice.

First timers here, was reading reviews and super excited when we saw it said the servers will help you decide. WRONG! For our server anyway. He didn't even introduce himself, just asked what we wanted and that was all. No communication. Mind you it is a Peruvian restaurant, understand, yet they serve the public so surely must have some American language I would hope. Very disappointing. He didn't even come ask us how our food was or if we needed anything else. He stood around chatting with the servers and i had to flag him down to ask for our bill. Food was great! But service makes or breaks a place and unfortunately we will not be back. Also, they AUTOMATICALLY charge an 18% tip so check your receipt. He didn't even deserve it!
Ceviche! Fettuccine is delicious.
Excellent food and service!
So I come here A LOT. I'm half Peruvian and love my backgrounds flavors and style of cooking.... this place hits the nail on the head ... each... time. I come with my grandmother and mum every Saturday practically. Just delicious. It is usually always busy so reservations are recommended but we always have luck or wait a max of 5mins to be seated (I go with a stroller aswell and they always accommodate). I recommend my 3 personal favorite dishes .... 1st Tallarin Hucachina w/Lomo saltado the on top (insanely good) or if you don't like onions get it with just the steak on top and 2nd classic never gets old, Aji de gallina ... something I'm famous for cooking and being a critique when ordering and this place does me well everytime!Prices of entrees start at $18 (it will be a fulfilling plate). So good.... and p.s they do a lunch special during the week... ask about it, super affordable and you can try a appetizers with it ?
This place is one of the best places I've been to. Staff is friendly, service is fast, food is fresh and the price is right. We ordered the grilled octopus, grilled shrimp with french fries, ceviche 3 flavors, and fried fish bites. Everything was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is lively in a casual dining setting. I will definitely go back. I highly recommend this place :)
This place is delicious and excellent price. I'm Peruvian so I know my food. We found it randomly one day at the beach. We have tried almost everything because we go every time we go to the beach. My favorite is the ceviche botijero and ceviche 3 ajies.y favorite ones. Their pisco sours and very good and at a good price. They have a lunch menu for 11.99 that includes and appetizers, a main dish and a non alcoholic drinks. This is a very good deal. As for dessert. Their chocoluma is one of the best I've had. Also their passion fruit cheesecake. We are visiting for 1 month and been already 6 time because it's that good and so worth it!! Their other dishes are also very good and authentic. Happy to found this place :)
Wow is the best word in terms of the quality. A seafood heavy menu. If you have not tried Peruvian food you'll find offerings here to be rich but delightfully sauced. If you are a seafood lover or want to try some new flavors, you will find fair prices and impressive service. The menu is huge so no one in your party can be disappointed by good steak, chicken, etc.
My Peruvian-born wife and I found this gem to have excellent Peruvian food - papa la a huancaina, ceviche, and various steak and seafood dishes to all be excellent with perfectly cooked with well spiced/marinated meat. They have a fixed menu for lunch or dinner which Mon-Fri are an absolute bargain at $12 and $18, respectively. They include appetizer portions (actually quite adequate) plus the main courses (a lot of food) and a drink, like Inca Cola. We ate here three times over six days and it wasn't even near our hotel. The fixed menu is an especially good way to try out as an appetizer new items, which you may very well return to order as full plates themselves. One new dish for me was pescado a la florentina (fish with a crunchy cheese and spinach crust) which was simply amazing. The locale is very clean and getting food to go is also an excellent idea, because the portions are still excellent. For example, my pescado a lo macho contained not just generous portion of fish but also lots of calamari and shrimp. Their ceviche de pescado and ceviche mixto are actually much better than other restaurants at twice the price and, again, they do not skimp of preparation or ingredients. We also loved the causa de tuna and the seco de res (beef).
