Im reading other 1 star reviews and these people are crazy. ? some of the complaints are really petty. Anyways... i order from here like twice a week. Never had diarrhea. Maybe these people should see a doctor. I always order the same stuff and ive never had a problem. Fried rice, low mane, chicken wings, egg rolls. Always good. Only reason i came to review is because i just opened my fortune cookie and there was no fortune inside of it. ? whats up with that. Yall owe me a fortune.
It's not authentic Chinese food they substitute and add peas and carrots in there shrimp and lobster sauce the and doesn't make you aware of it on the menu. then when you ask them why so why there's no onions in the rice. Next time I should order something like a chop suey. They apologized and didn't offer to remake the food. Rice was horrible steal old. but service was good. the food is terrible and the price is expensive
Terrible Chinese food. Really weird artificial taste in both the general Tao’s sauce and the sesame chicken sauce. Everything had a weird red color to it like sweet and sour sauce. The udon noodles were horribly over cooked and didn’t come with carrots. The egg roles were over processed but edible and my Dad said the hot and sour soup was the best of a bad showing but I thought it had a oddly thick texture to it. I feel ripped off on a $50 meal, all the meals just had 2 bites taken out of it. On the plus side service was good and meal was warm. Just never ordering from here again.
Ordered for delivery. Eating it right now and it's soooooo good that I had to leave a review lo! Or maybe I'm just that hungry. The sesame chicken is bomb. It's delicious chicken breast with the sauce. Definitely recommend! And they gave me fortune cookies! Got super happy about that lol. Much better than my local chinese food spot back home in NYC
Honestly I really want to give a good review because I like the staff, but the food is a serious problem. I literally can never avoid a stomach ache whenever I eat anything from here aside from the vegetable fried rice. A couple of times some of the vegetables tasted spoiled and I had spit it out. I feel like before corona they were way better, it’s gone far downhill unfortunately.
Really wasn't the biggest fan of Chinese food UNTIL I tried this restaurant. Now I crave it daily. Everything is always fresh and made to order.
I have been eating at East Ocean for years. On September 27 had food delivered. My sister and I became extremely ill, that she had to go to emergency room. We had food poisoning. When I called the restaurant the manager to let him know what happened, he explained he has never had any complaints about there food. Didn't offer us a refund or discount, nothing. Will be disputing on my bill and after 15 years will never step into that restaurant again!!!!
We have been customer from this Chinese Restaurant for 3 years today my wife called for delivery and the lady on the phone said they can't deliver today
I have order food today from this restaurant (as I have done for years) and the food they send me made me very sick. It taste like old leftovers and Shrimp had an awfull and disgusting taste. Don't take the chance to get sick.
Sweet n sour chicken & egg drop was good, but the general tso wasnt so great. Neither was the wonton taste like salt ? egg rolls no Bueno & worst fried rice ever. Maybe I got the end of the batch for ordering at 830pm idk but I thought Chinese was a safe bet. Nope! Didn't even mind the 45 min wait... 15min is the golden standard near me... Just Bad
