If you are in this area during your stay, you must come and have some savory Latin food it's always fresh and yummy and it's dessert a must try ..
They have a great costumer service.Delicious empanadas, arepas and fruit cakes.Every morning on my way home i stop there to get my fresh coffee .The staff goes above and beyond to make feel special.
Good coffee, delicious sandwiches and you can park your car for free, while you enjoying your meal, also you can leave it there and walk to the beach ?You are welcome!
This place is an amazing find. I live in South Beach but was in the neighborhood and wow. The menu is things I dream about restaurants offering. The guava has so much flavor. The Cuban coffee is sweet and delicious and the Cuban breakfast with chunks of cheese in the eggs and ham croquettes is out of the world. Served with Cuban toast!! Best of all the staff is warm and welcoming. I already told all my local friends about my new find!
Do not order through their website, they forget items in your order, and they run out of things by the time you arrive, and website is more expensive. I ended up waiting an hour total for my $100 online order for these reasons. I understand there's a labor shortage going on, but they could've just let me have a refund on the items they forgot and let me be on my way. Guava pastries were delicious, and cachapas, empanadas, and breakfast plates were good with generous portions, just not worth the hour long wait.
You don’t even deserve 1 star. If I could I wouldn’t even put any stars for this location. They give me 3 cold empanadas that came out of the fridge of how cold they were, to top it off I asked the lady in the counter to separate my order and to write which empanada is which and she wrote chicken when it was beef. Very disappointing to hand a chicken empanada to someone who doesn’t eat chicken. I’m never coming to this place you lost a customer that lives down the block from you.
Food was terrible! They served us two sandwiches that had nothing but pork fat! Nasty!
This place is great...best bakery in North Beach area. The dough is perfect and they stuff them full. Everything is just fantastic. The guava pastry is awesome..the hot food is delicious. There is so much to choose from and it's all great. Can't recommend enough.
The five-block stretch of Collins Ave from 65th St. to 72nd St. has a number of small, mom-and-pop, Latino flavored but locally run bakeries each having a selection of coffees and other non-alcoholic drinks, pastries, sandwiches, and even some what would be considered dinner items. Don Pan was started by a Spanish family who came to this area via Venezuela. It’s a chain but confined to a few locations in the Miami area.I’ve visited twice and wasn’t disappointed with the very reasonably priced pastries or the sandwiches (also arepas, empanadas, etc.). But, I was blown away by their coffee. Once you have coffee here, you’ll never go a Starbucks again. And they serve it all up with no muss or fuss.Don Pan has a small seating area inside and 2-3 tables outside. You can sit outside depending on the weather and part of the day (it gets really hot outside on a sunny day) you are here. But, I take one star off because this strip mall could use a facelift and some thorough cleaning.
Omg one of the best places I’ve visited. Everyone was so nice when I had no idea what to get and helped and the food was excellent! Will definitely come back here again.
