NY Style pizza slice.They also have this squared slice of pizza/focaccia-like that was surprisingly tasty.Their pyramid-shape sandwich also looked delicious.Not expensive and good pizza. Totally worth it a try.
Tried Collins pizza because of a good One Bite review. Had half sausage/ half regular. Sauce and cheese were good and not too greasy, but mine had a bit too much char for my taste (see pic).
My Go To North Beach Pizza Place. This the best Pizza in Miami Beach, New York Style of course. Had the pepperoni pizza which was amazing. The pizza crust is delectable. The lightly battered crispy buffalo wings with house waffle fries were a perfect match with the frozen sangria(Sangrita).
Best pizza spot in Miami. Cheap. Quick. Great customer service & employees are always genuinely friendly. Right on the beach. Not only do they always have fresh made pizza, different variety everyday and try to mix up the flavors which I love! They run a special everyday buy one get one free for the slices. It’s from 11–3 I believe you can’t beat that
Sooo Collins Pizza was ad hoc choice from being hungry after my drive to Miami. There was no wait so I went inside to have a bite. The staff were friendly and in a pleasant mood. The establishment was clean and nice. I decided to eat there and grab a beer. Nothing much to it! Absolutely the best pizza we've ever had! Great quality and service. The employees seem happy to be there! Worth a trip. We live in Mississippi, but we WILL BE BACK.
On Saturday (New Year's Day) I ordered 2 pizzas. I had very specific special instructions on how the pizza was to be prepared, which the restaurant accepted (I entered the order and instructions on their site, they accepted the order and didnt call me to tell me that they couldn't honor the special instructions). I ordered direct from their store's site (knowing it costs them a lot when people use DoorDash, etc - I tried to save them a few bucks!)... they use a platform called Sauce for outsourced Order Management and Customer Service.None of the special instructions at all were followed - and as a result couldn't eat the pizzas. I reported this immediately to their service (Sauce).After 3 days, the manager finally got back to Sauce who got back to me to request that I "send a photo of the instructions that weren't followed" in order for them to 'make this right.' Do you really think I have photos from 2 pizzas 3 days ago that I couldn't eat? They're in the trash! Are you kidding me?This situation could have been handled so much better! This is certainly the last time I'll ever order from Collins Pizza.
Where is the sauce? ?Collins Pizza: We don’t use a lot of sauce. We prefer a balanced taste with a med thin crust. Since our crust is on the thinner side, adding a lot of sauce would make it soggy. So our pizza profile may not be for everyone especially if your are used to the franchises.Best12/20 I mean you literally use no sauce though. I am a chef and have tried and made pizza.. just admit you skimp on the sauce.. it’s basically cheese, the oil from the cheese, and bread.. ??♀️ I’m not saying it has to be saucy but sauce isn’t even in this ratio. When I look at other pictures that people have posted there is evident sauce… maybe it was just my pie ???♀️
OMG I'm literally eating the pizza right now and just had to come rave about how delicious this pizza is. Ive tried other places along the beach and this is my new official favorite. Delicious crust, perfect cheese to sauce ratio and crispy pepperoni. Perfect way to ring in the new year ?
Updated review: Went from 5 stars to 3 stars after a not so great experience.Service was non-existent. And yes, I did tip.Pizza was burned.No one came to the table except to drop a pizza box, no plates. Staff stood by my table folding boxes for 15+ minutes without one check-in. If that had occurred I would have expressed my disappointment. But, I'll just give the Truth here and contemplate finding a new place for pizza in the neighborhood.I really loved this place until today.
