Great place with great food
My partner and I went to Barceloneta twice during our trip to Miami. We had Lautaro as our waiter - excellent service, friendly, great recommendations. Excellent tapas and dishes that I would order again were the pan con tomate, croquetas de setas y manchego, and especially the gambas al ajillo. So savoury! The baguette or ciabatta, which has to be ordered separately, were very fresh. The pincho de tortilla was very good, as was the berenjas con miel and the judias verdes en tempura. The happy hour Cabernet Sauvignon was excellent.
Great place for Spanish food, everything ive tried is great , octopus, tortilla, patatas bravas, and my top picks mushroom croquettes and black rice . It has a great ambience indoor and outdoor. Service is usually great, have had a couple of not so great …but nothing else
Cardamomo cocktail was a must have, sangria pitcher not so much. Excellent comfortable outdoor seating. Exellent service. Pan con tomate was not as good as last time. Anchovie is a must have always. Mushroom croquettes good. Squid ink rice was perfect for 2 people. Other rice dishes good as well. Catalan creme was ok. Hazelnut bread pudding taste was very good but bread texture was unexpectedly chewy.
Great relaxed Mediterranean vibe with indoor and outdoor seating. We had a tabla de queso y jamon, good quality ingredients, followed by a wahoo ceviche and pollo asados. All well prepared. We ordered a dish a time and the server was happy to indulge us. Great Spanish wine list ( 3 Albariños), and a good house Rioja from Beronia. Oh and the Estrella Damm was fab! The bill matched the food and ambiance. A great experience.
Great restaurant with a unique menu. Good service. Went there during the boat show, and would go back the next time we are in town.
Amazing tapas and must to get the Spanish sliced ham. Big outdoor space with fun cocktails. The staff was excellent and accommodated our numerous food allergies. They knew the ingredients so well and was so kind. Tons of delicious small plates and the squid ink paella was outstanding.
Barceloneta’s employees are all exceptional employees and they work like they own the restaurant. They’ care for the restaurant like it is their on home and the service they provide to its customers is outstanding, a good service restaurant.
Food is just awful !! Went there on the 31 of January, ordered Pollo Asado ..,it was full of seasonings and tasteless served with creamy mushrooms sauce and a pumpkin sort of mashed. Honestly I don’t even know if they have a chef at this point ?! Whoever Cooked that night is an utter NOOO I ordered for dessert Catalana ,, it was tasteless as well and no sweet no taste whatsoever.., I mean seriously?! Publix or Whole Foods as better cooks !! It is a pure crap ! Don’t waist your time to go there ! I’m a local and would never go there !
Very pleasant surprise this Sunday Brunch was! Cool Relaxed Vibes Restaurant… All dishes we ordered were delicious and even though I thought they were small, I left completely satisfied and full. Service was attentive, food amazing, definitely would recommend it. Must Try: Salpicon de Mariscos (omg delish!), Tortilla de patatas, croquetas de seta y queso, the NY steak (mega yum) and as dessert crema catalana!
