Ordered the steak enchiladas and the carnitas plate. While the food looked pretty good the enchiladas were only okay. Everything lacked flavor. The carnitas were borderline inedible. The meat was not well cooked or separated and most of the meat was fatty and gross. We were given three hot sauces but they all were just hot with no chili flavor at all. Two items and one drink cost $50, much like most of South Beach. The waiter was friendly but clearly had more interest in the cute girls at the table outside than in us. Overall, disappointed given then current 4.4 star rating on Google reviews. Will not return or recommend.
We came to the restaurant because of the good rating here at google. The waiter was not that polite and more or less apathetic. But everybody can have a bad day. Unfortunately we were not asked if we liked the food.We ordered Huevos Rancheros with sunny side up eggs. First of all, it was hot and fresh made. The eggs were cooked very good, but the whole meal was very lame. The Beans and the rice had no flavor and taste at all.For me it was not worth to visit this place.
Not a fancy place. Down to earth Mexican food that will cure any hangover. Make sure to ask for the chilaquiles with red sauce. Or the egg burrito with chorizo and potatoes. Hits the spot.
Great place to get some Mexican food in Miami Beach. The restaurant is very small but the food was good! It did take a little long for appetizers to come out! But it was w worth it!
My boyfiend and I are visiting from Boston and we were looking for a good spot to dine in at and we googled restaurants and Alma Mexicans popped up. We decided to go this restaurant and when we got there we were greeted and given a table right away. The food and service was awesome! Customer service was exceptional as well. Oh and I ordered a margaritas and it was the best I ever had !! Thank you. I recommend this place and give it 5 ⭐️ Stars.
We really enjoyed the steak tacos and steak platos. Excellent flavor and very friendly staff!! We will definitely be back!
New review: Food is horrible, dry, plain and old. The portions are big but the quality is below anything I've experienced. This is, by far, the worst ever Mexican cuisine I've ever had. Congratulations.Old review: Delicious Mexican experience, tasty food for a very reasonable price. This was our favourite spot when it comes to Mexican food in Miami.Food was delicious and staff was really friendly.
Am visiting from Boston. Food was over priced and lacking any flavor. I really did try to like this place, but it isn't worth going. I dropped $80 on 3 burrito and a 3 taco meal. Each plate was disappointing. Your better off eating on Ocean Drive where at least there's scenery.
The food is average; the portion of meat is extremely small, and the food requires a lot of seasoning. It has no similarities to traditional Mexican cuisine.
Delicious steak tacos. They also had really good churros. 10/10 recommend.
