I've eaten Kelsey's before. The spinach pie and side salad are delicious. However the pizza......a large is small. It's the size of a medium pizza. The price is expensive. Even with inflation it's high. The flavor was good though. My kids enjoyed it. The crust was like a thin bread. Not a pizza dough texture. Sadly, I won't be getting this pizza for myself. But, my kids did eat it up.
not sure who is running the place but the staff is young and needs to be trained plus registers don't work so they need to go back and run your card if you stop in. with that said, the food is good, I haven't found many places that still serve calzones and this place has a great calzone. The chefs are keeping this place going.
I am new to the area and placed my 1st order with this location on January 17th. I order a small combo #8 with no onions and add tomato and spinach. Along with other items. Total bill was $46.34. Items were delivered and when we opened the box the pizza did not have the additonal items and had onions. I immediately called the location. The young lady took my name and information and told me they would send me a giftcard. I called tonight to follow-up was placed on a brief hold while they got a manager. I explained the situation and was told they don't hold names on file they send gift cards. It has been a week and I haven't received the gift card. Not a good first impression.
Excellent pizza when I went, great atmosphere all the way from the dining room, to the bathrooms. Great friendly service, not understanding some of these reviews. Maybe call and try to fix a problem before just leaving a bad review guys.
I ordered an hour before pickup and it wasn’t ready. Had to wait 15 minutes till my $81 order was ready.Ordered some subs. Asked that bread be toasted. Was told they are. They weren’t.Subs were luke warm. The filling, chicken parm and philly cheese was NOT on both ends about 3”. The Chef’s salad. Ran out of turkey and no egg.The people were nice. Apologized.Probably won’t go back. Food is sub standard. Oh, we ordered 4 salads. You’d think some bread would be included. NO!
Kelsey's Italian is attached to another restaurant that serves 'American pub' type food, burgers, salads and such. We sit at the bar, where we now know the bartenders, and several other locals that obviously make this place their Sunday 5:00 place as well. Great food, ice cold beers, with some local beers, but also has 'regular' beer. Stan the bartender is a very friendly guy, and as soon as we walk in, is pulling our draft beers. There is a new guy, Chappy, who has been broken in to our drink orders!!
Unfortunately, out of a dozen pizzas we have ordered from Kelsey's, three of them were severely undercooked. The dough was gooier than the cheese, and the cheese itself wasn't even melted completely. When done right, they have a great product, but when your business name has "pizza" in it, you should be doing everything you can to make sure that core product actually has quality. Short staffed or not, I would expect wait times to suffer (which is fine), but pulling a pizza out of the oven and making sure it's done is not difficult.For the record, they took care of us last time and were very polite (they were polite this time as well), but I'm not going to chance food poisoning and throw money at them on a gamble. This isn't Vegas.
The food overall wasn’t bad however it’s the second time that I’ve ordered one thing and have gotten another, I understand the lack of staffing and such but I just think maybe taking a few more second to hear the orders would be greatly beneficial. Overall amazing food great quality as always.
I've been eating at this establishment for a few years now and just a past 6 to 8 months things have been going wrong with my orders as well as the service. Very disturbing to me because I work hard for my money and I expect to get good service with good food if they want to keep on retaining as a customer. I have been getting my orders messed up , service is even worse I don't know what happened to this place but it needs to be fixed .. I will it one more try. in about a month maybe things would be better and if that time messes up then I will never be there again
So as a previous review stated. I ordered a calzone for delivery. When I got it there was literally an inch of water and the marinara had spilled into the water when I asked for a replacement they said I had to bring it back which I thought was kinda dangerous considering that re-entry of food into a restaurant during covid was an unsafe practice I just said forget it spent 50 dollars and three ITIN the garage
