Out of towers who were looking for a small local spot and we were happy we went here. Service was great, it was nice and quiet, and the food was great. Fried Pickles. You can't mess it up. I had the jambalaya. Was great! Not a authentic a creole traditional jambalaya but was great nonetheless, would highly recommend it.. Pulled pork was also great. Nice sweet smokey flavor and tender. If we are ever back in the area, will be coming back here again.
The family had a good experience. The food was above average for a pub, with a welcome twist to the classic pub style food. Nice menu size with options. Overall we were happy. Friendly staff. Thanks
A bunch of us eat lunch here regularly before we play pool. Always great service and resonable prices with their lunch specials.
We came here on a Wednesday afternoon around 1pm...First time dining here, but not sure why!! Everything was great...awesome service, yummy food, nice portions, fair prices!Thank you~~We will definitely be back!!
I received top notch service and food and enjoyed outside seating for nice two person meal.
Great place with a cool vibe. Food is terrific, too. Nice bar with plenty of selections and specials. We make the 25-minute drive to Jack and Harry’s quite often.
I was really excited to try theSalmon BLT. They brought the chips out after the sandwich and disappointed they were stone cold. What was even worse there was no B (bacon) on the sandwich. When I asked about it they brought out three pieces of limp barely cooked bacon. I could not taste the lemon aoli on the salmon which was very tasteless. No offer to take anything off bill. Just sorry, new cooks. We decided to forego dessert although we had been thinking of the peach cobbler.
Despite this place being short-staffed (like everywhere else; get over it, people), I still coming for food and drink alike. The bartenders are on top of everything, including taking orders from dining patrons when needed. The service isn't speedy due to the lack of staff, but I still found myself served in a timely manner. In particular, Ronna, one of the hostesses, is new yet well-established and efficient at her job.
Downgraded Quality, Not Trained Service StaffNormally not a person to do reviews, however I feel the need to put one on this place only because I have had great experiences here before but unfortunately the last three times I arrived I was not impressed.Besides them changing the menu at nighttime to the Kelseys menu (I assume because of staffing issues, but still)…when I did come in here yesterday afternoon and they actually served me the normal menu I got really mediocre dragonfire shrimp that was over breaded and seemed to be a downgrade on the shrimp. (Was definitely frozen and tasted like cheap cocktail shrimp)As far as service their bartenders are great, but it seemed like they had a really young inexperienced wait staff that are not properly being trained. Not asking what we need, only being able to take drink orders and not food and drink at the same time because they had to tell someone we needed food. Not checking on us mid meal, when we didn’t touch our food because it sucked they didn’t ask why. Like I said before inexperience and not proper training.I hope they can get it figured out, but I’m skipping this spot for a couple months because I’m not exaggerating when I say I got really mediocre food for the past three times I have been here.
In Merritt Island several days per week and went next door to Kelsey's which was closed and they directed me to Jack and Harry's. I was seated promptly and my drink was served. I placed my order around 12:05pm and ordered from Express Lunch menu since on my lunch break. About 12:45pm I asked when my food would be brought out. The server went back to check and stated that my ticket got lost in the kitchen. She offered to bring out some meat balls which were ice cold. I ended up leaving about 1pm. Called to speak to the Manager or Owner about my experience and they said they were not there. If you are short staffed then the owner/manager should be there to help with customers.
