I am editing my review from 3 years ago. This location is still better than the 2 in Viera as far as customer service goes but its gone down hill in the past year. When will I learn that by ordering and paying for a large fry that I'm really getting a medium......I live down the street and have visited often over the past few years, its convenient for quick stops most of the time but they have been getting orders wrong or shorting me and my husband on food for months now, fries are under cooked, biscuits are overcooked, and the drive thru and dining room are always a mess.
I have never been to a bad Chick Fila. It is one of the nice things about eating at Chick Fila because it's good regardless of location. Merritt Island meets this high quality reputation. They have great service and food. They are consistent in their performance.
Came here around 12pm on a Tuesday for lunch. Came in the entrance near Bonefish Grill to get into the drive thru. To my surprise, there was only one entrance line and it was on the opposite side. I watched about 8 cars pull in front of me. I decided not to stay, due to the lack of organization and time I had. They should figure out a better way to have both lanes open.
So much better then mcdonald, burger King or Wendy's. Clean drive up was only second and dine in was busy but fast. Maybe because they have so many people working there all on different tasks but for the same order so you r food order is quick and still warm. Kudos to chic fil a

I ordered a chicken biscuit meal with an extra order of hashbrowns. Not only were the hash browns stale and barely warm, the replacements were barely warm to the touch and I made sure to squish to the middle to make sure it wasn'tjust the outside cooling off. I offered to wait for them to cook more for me, but they insisted all of the hash browns had just come up and they all would be the same.
Companies wonder why they're losing money, giving out more sauces total than the side of fries combined. All of which weren't even the correct ones asked for, seems like they're sacrificing quality for speed. Honestly this location has gone downhill since "upgrading" their drive thru area

It is a stand-alone building in front (north side) of the Merritt Island Mall. Since it is in the middle of the mall parking lot, there is a lot of parking around it. This chain traces its roots back to Hapeville, Georgia in 1946 and has since grown to over 2500 stores worldwide. This store is nicer than most I have visited. It has indoor and outdoor dining and a drive-through line. I have done the drive-through many times but decided to dine in this time. I am glad I did. The inside is very tastefully appointed with a mix of seating options for large or small groups from short to tall, from booths to short and long tables. The tables and floor all appeared clean and well-kept. You order at the counter and can pay with your app, card, or cash. The staff that took my order was very polite, professional, and friendly. The prices were reasonable. They gave me my drinks and a marker before I left the counter. I chose my seat and they brought my fresh food. It was hot and delicious. I had hash browns and a biscuit. Both were excellent. I would recommend this for anyone wanting a good meal in the area. Enjoy.
