This used to be one of our favorite places to go which we used to go to regularly, but after our horrendous experience there recently and the response to it, we can longer support this business which fosters and supports an environment for sexual predators to prey on people. To be clear, we reported this experience to Twisted Rooster but their response was so defensive and clearly lacking any empathy or understanding/care. This business literally puts the sick and disgusting wants of sexual predators over the needs of the rest of their customers in order to make them feel safe and welcomed. We have loved the drag queens and the bartenders, but our most recent experience has been really disheartening. It is so sad to see coming from a place that we truly thought was a place we could be comfortable and a place that we thought is accepting and welcoming of everyone. There is absolutely no reason that anyone should have these sort of experiences in this day in age, let alone in a gay bar which claims to care and protect people. It’s so sickening and we can’t believe we are even still having these conversations, especially with an lgbtq+ business which I would really hope would be extremely understanding of sexual assault, rape victims, etc given that it’s an even larger problem in the community and everyone preaches supporting mental health constantly at your business. The security guards ignore sexual assault done right in front of them, but refuse to let people use a buddy system to go to the restroom in order to make them feel safe from the actual dangerous people. It makes me sick to my stomach just writing this review.

The atmosphere, the coziness, the staff, & the patrons that frequent the place...OMG!!!! They are all in play here. I am definitely going to be going here for a long time!!! Wow ?

Not only does this bar have great employees and Drag Queens, they are an accepting community where you can be yourself. Once I walk through the doors, I feel at home. I feel safe. And I finally feel welcomed. At every bar it just never felt like the people are full of life. At Twisted Rooster everyone is either having a good time or a naughty time. It’s so fun and amazing!
Had a fun time, great place to hang out. Shows are great too. The chicken naan bread with pesto was really good!
Cheap domestic beers cost nearly $7 at happy hour. ..Unfriendly bartender.
