French onion soup was terrible, watery and bland. 2 soggy bits of bread with some cheese, definitely not gruyere. Overall extremely disappointing and $10 a serving is excessive!
Lovely place! Had amazing food. I had the Tomato bisque and BLT sandwich and it was amazing. Has awesome artwork throughout the place and great options for food.
This place has the best soup ever. I dont at all understand any review less than 5 stars for this place. The quality is there! My family has lived in this town for decades but we only recently tried the soup shop. Absolutely fantastic. They allow sampling of soups which is awesome. The mexican tortilla, beer cheese, beef chili, and french onion are all incredible. My cousin got the she crab soup which was also delicious. Considering the quality and that its a long running small business, the prices are more than fair. You'd pay the same for soup that came out of a plastic bag from other restaurants! I can pay less than 20 bucks for enough soup for 2 days. Also, try their ny cheesecake. The raspberry swirl was my favorite. I will get getting soup here every week i can!!!
It has been way too long my friends. Just finished one of the split pea and I swear it’s nectar of the gods. Thank you and keep doing what you do - my family and I love it
Ordered for the first time today as I had been craving lobster bisque for weeks! It was the best lobster bisque I’ve ever had!
We have lived up the street since 2018 but decided to try for the first time late last year. The soup is amazing. I’ve had chicken noodle, corn chowder, gumbo, a Mexican tortilla ( creamy but don’t remember the name) and the pretzels and beer cheese. All 10/10. The baguettes are also the PERFECT compliment for the soup. I am kicking myself for not eating here earlier.
The she crab bisque is awesome. Makes me want to bath in it. Can't say enough about the soups.Being from Michigan, I'm spoiled.
A great place for great foodThis restaurant and shop is located in a shopping center on the northwest corner of the Post and N Wickham road intersection. The shopping center has a Publix and a Panera and so traffic can be challenging and parking may be a little limited. The store occupies two business spaces and has a sandwich shop, an order-out portion, and dine-in options. They have soups, salads, and pies but they are well known in this area for their soups. On this latest visit, we ordered soup to go. They have a section to order sandwiches on the far left. The center is a counter to order and pay for the soups, pies and carry out food. There is a dining area with about 10 tables to the far right as you enter. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. There are options for the gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian crowd. We ordered chili and chicken enchilada and chicken noodle soups. They were excellent after heating them up. I would highly recommend this place for my fellow travelers in the area and I plan to try their sandwich shop and eat-in area next time I visit. Enjoy!
Great place! So far everything I have tried from here has been wonderful. They’ve recently changed their hours and have an updated their websites. So now they’re close Saturdays Sundays. :( Lol, I guess I need to plan ahead. If I want some of the delicious soup on the weekend.
I love soup and this place does not disappoint! Love all the options...sometimes a little too much that I can't decide on which one to get! Definitely worth it!
