I had intended to visit The Roots Restaurant for some time, and I'm glad I finally visited. It may just be me, but it's location doesn't put it at the front and center as folks drive through downtown Melbourne. All restaurants on Melbourne Court seem to fall into that category, and there have been some decent options in that area over the years.I've had a few breakfast dishes at Roots with the majority being the breakfast burrito. I've also had the typical two egg, bacon, potatoes and toast plate. Service has been great, and the staff is helpful in offering other options that you not be considering. They've suggested their chicken biscuits, so that may be my next option. The coffee isn't my favorite, but I can work with it by adding water to thin it out a bit. Overall, it's a good option if you're in the mood for some good grub.
What a gem! Amazing food! Nice ambiance and decor! But wow the service from our waitress Jessica M! It was a Sunday and she killed it! Super attentive and patient with our questions since it was our first time there. My mom, husband, and 7 month old loved everything! My mom is a fan of eggs Benedict and she orders it everywhere and she said it was the best she had in Brevard. Can’t wait to go back for breakfast and lunch! Please support this small Ma & Pa restaurant!
This place was packed...a good sign.. Everything was perfect. Excellent Service & absolutely delicious food. The mushrooms on the humongous hamburgers were fresh. Large portions. Crispy steaming HOT French frys. Coffee was delish. OK I don't have the slightest chance of making the wall of fame for downing a GIGANTIC 36 ounce hamburger. But it was fun sitting in Roots and dreaming it. Like Gen. MacArthur said "I will return."

Man I really can not say enough about this place. Hands down this is the most cozy and just amazing breakfast place. Wife and I have been here a few times and I waited to post this review I wanted to make sure the quality was consistent....Well it's safe to say this place blows my mind everytime. Food is amazing service is amazing and the food is not your diner quality no no this feels like your in a fine dining breakfast.
Small cute place my husband and I decided to try for lunch. Food was great..... the service not so much. We waited several minutes to get menus, another table had gotten their drink orders in and menus before we were acknowledged. She wasnt a pleasant waitress.Bathroom was clean.
I love this place and the food and service is amazing 10/10 recommend to all my family and friends
After being seated it took and took our order it took forty minutes get our food and had ask waitress about getting are food out it was just bad experience all a round . After we got done it took fifteen to twenty minutes get check to pay bill
Wife and I stopped in for lunch. She had pancake and 2 eggs, I had the BLT. Both enjoyed our meals. Small place, busy at time of our visit, friendly staff, table rocked bad had to hold it still to cut....
