Our waiter was the best we've ever had! He was energetic, enthusiastic, and knew the specific details about every dish we asked about and his recommendations were spot on! We each had a different dish they all were delicious. I had the lamb it was incredible ð
Our experience at The Landing Rooftop was quite mixed. On the plus side it has a wonderful view of the city from its rooftop. The food exceeded our expectation. We had a reservation and was taken to a high top in the bar. We expressed our desire for a regular low table. We ended up needing to wait for one to become available. While waiting we tried to order a drink at the bar and no one acknowledged our presence. It was crowded with 20-30 year olds. We finally got our drinks after getting the attention of a bartender. It felt awkward and frustrating.
It was extremely loud inside. The food and drinks were quite expensive for what you get. Service was very slow. Outside had a long wait, but the view and ambiance looked like it would have been a better. however, I cannot imagine eating at a table on a balcony while a bunch of people congregated around my table. Happy I tried it, but Will not choose to come back.
The stone fruit salad is one of the best dishes I have ever eaten! It was delicious and the other dishes were enjoyable.

They did not recognize our reservation and treated us as though we were walk ins. It was a 40 minute wait for seating so we missed the sunset we planned on for our romantic night out . We were seated at an unset table nearby the outdoor bar with people standing in line right by the table. The table was bare without lighting or utensils and wobbly stools . The drinks were very very good as well as the appetizers we ordered. The Landingsâs elevator is very unpredictable going down when you press floor 11 you get sent to the lobby 1st? Wish they wouldnât allow kids on the terrace , it was loud and worrisome when seeing lack of supervision by parents near exterior roof views.
The staff was great, decent drinks, but the food was horrible. I ordered shrimp and grits which was immediately sent back. The grits had no flavor, the tomato sauce had a metallic taste. I didnât even get around to trying the shrimp. My husband had a burger and truffle fries. The fries were good, but the burger was burnt and left an unpleasant taste in our mouth. Our waitress was very nice and understanding and removed the shrimp and grits dinner from our bill. Overall not worth the $90 for 4 drinks and one burger with fries.
